So I rolled my First joint Last Night

I've been smoking pot pretty much daily for almost a year now but I'd never been able to roll a joint, I just never took the time to learn, and always had friends who could roll for me. I rolled the odd one by cheating and using a pen or something but last night I sat down with 2 packs of papers, a large coffee and all night to learn. It took me about an hour and a half before I rolled one tight enough to smoke and I must say, there's something very peaceful about rolling. As well as a strange connection between a joint you roll freely and having it get you high. Not a huge deal but I feel proud

 

right on dude, its always a grand day when someone learns to roll a joint its my fav way of smoking, i ussualy roll jays but i enjoy anyway of smoking really especially if its a way i've never experienced before. Good job and keep the cherry red brother

keep rollin'm man, it's a good feeling when you're really good at it, roll one up, pass it over to a friend to let him light it up and hear him say "damn, this is a nice joint"

then you just smile and say "well it'll be even nicer if you smoke it "

^^ haha yeah man. Just wait till you get your first compliment on your rolling skills, It makes you feel all proud and experienced.

 

Oh man, I was so proud the first time I ever tried to roll a joint. Before, I'd always let my boyfriend do the skinning up, and if he wasn't around I'd just smoke out of my pipe or some home made paraphenalia.

But one day we came home with eigth and I just decided to roll. I mean, I'd seen Phil (boyfriend) and Trav (best friend) do it countless times before! It didn't look so hard...

And despite what everyone told me, about how difficult it is to get the hang of rolling... I got it. Right away! First time I tried I rolled a fat, fabulous joint.

i remember the very first joint i rolled

once i finished it i gave it to a friend and asked "so how's that?"

he was like "wow...you've never rolled a joint before?"


i'd say i'm a natural, but i don't like to brag, that, and i've rolled my fair share of crappy joints

i've also not rolled a joint in a forever, so i'm sure i'm not too good at it anymore

 

My god, it's so much fun lol. After doing it once it's pretty easy. I just roll when I get bored now.

 

to keep up the practice (when you don't have weed) buy some rolling tobacco (even if you don't smoke) and sit there and roll cigarettes all day, especially if your bored

then just give the cigs to some bums or something, lol, i dunno

 

For me joints are the best to smoke while cruising around in my car.

yeah there is something really relaxing and nice about it, and something really satisfying about smoking a joint that youuu rolled

ahah yeah compliments on your joints are great, someone told me a few times that i roll 'well rasta joints, man' lol not sure how true that is though

 

yeah, i rolled a joint last night just because i haven't rolled one in a while. i'm pretty anxious to smoke it tonight (i was stoned enough from smoking bowls last night)

i admit it DOES have just the slightest addition of some toasted cigarette tobacco, and it IS double wrapped (for tightness and aesthetics - it doesnt taste as good, but burns slower)

its just a typical american styled spliff. been a while since i did it, but i can also roll some pretty nice cones. been even longer, but i like rolling blunts, too, but i almost NEVER have the pot or lungs to spare on a blunt these days....
