I was all excited today since I thought I was getting my script filled, but hell no, they went and put a " do not fill until 4-2-11" on the bottom, they havent done this the past 4 times, but guess my lucky streak ended this month? I know it is a long stretch, but is there anyway to fill a script with that on it early..like tomorrow? and unfortunately i do not have any good friends that work at a pharmacy either. i know its only 4 days of waiting, but when its methadone withdrawls, 4 days are like 4 years!!
Did you run out early? Can you call the Doc and ask him to change it? Aside from that, I think you are SOL....
Yes, I run out early every month, for the past 4-5 years now, kinda like my time of the month, back when I was prescribed percocet 10mg, it wasnt that bad, but Ive been on methadone the past 4 or so years and my actual script is 15mg 3 times a day, so I get 135 each month, but i can never stick to the dosage they gave, and usually end up running out about a week early. Ive asked them repeatedly to up my dosage and they will not, since this is a pain management doc, they tell me my current dosage should be sufficient, and that they must factor my age (36) into it, as if Im on this amount now, whats its going to be like when im 50?! ive asked for breakthrough pain meds, and they always give me some crappy steroid or neurotin(which is useless) My withdrawls have been so bad, Ive attempted suicide more than once! luckily I currently have some 15mg percs so that will hold me over until I get paid again on thrusday, then most of my check will once again go for pills off the street, until saturday when i get my methadone filled.
That's gotta suck - pharmacist do have some latitude in refilling prescriptions - like if your going to be out of town for the next few days and won't be there to get your meds - sounds like the pharmacist has you pegged as an abuser. One suggestion, go to another pharmacy some distance away and ask the pharmacist to transfer your prescription. The new pharmacist won't have the same pre-conceptions as the usual one. I've done this with some success. BTW - If this works how about a rep - I only need one more to move up a little.
In my state pharmacists cannot under any circumstances fill a C2 early. I don't know how it is in your state, but the fact that you need them filled early every month probably sent up a red flag to the pharmacist. I was going to suggest the same thing as Ddoright...go to another pharmacy. It would work best if its a small family owned pharmacy; that way there is no danger of their records being linked to another pharmacy.
its those little BBs we were talking about earlier, it was the A-215 greenish tiny pill, which is a 15mg oxycodone/perc, they do work though, but get pricey, That trick with transferring my script wont work in this case, cuz I still have to present the actual paper script to the pharmacist, when i did get it filled early previously, I had to go to other pharmacies though, but there was no date on those though, my current script has "do not fill until 4-2-11" on the bottom. I should be able to get some of the 15mgs tomorrow hopefully, but all I have now is some naproxen, which I have no idea if it will take any WD symptoms away or not, I took 3-500mg, so we will see? Id be happy if it just dulls the wd efects a little!!
All pharmaices nowadays are linked, or can find out fairly easily about a persons hsitory, even the little mom and pop stores. I had one run a KASPAR report on me once over a script of tab 10s
Thats only if you pay with insurance or, have your insurance cover it. if you go to a new pharmacy and don't use insurance they shouldnt have any of your information unless they run a report which is rare. But if your script says do not fill until xxxx theres NOTHING you can do except fill it on that date. No pharmacy on earth will do it because it goes straight on their records that they would go against the doctor's order. if they EVER got audited (which would happen at least once a year i believe) they would be in big trouble if they filled your script.
damit Mike, stop calling them Percs, percs reference Oxy and tylenol, lmao.....I use to fill scripts early no problem, but only if I was willing to pay cash for it, my insurance will never let me fill early, 28-30 days after last refill, thats the earliest......
They have like a 4-5 day window where they can fill scripts early but NOT IF IT SAYS on it DO NOT FILL UNTIL XXXX. Thats just illegal. And A-215 are blue, 30mg, A-214 are green 15mg Roxicodone(Oxycodone, not percocet)

What kind of bitchboy can't hold out for 4 days? Withdrawal is hell, sure, but it's not the end of the world.

when im short like that, i goto rite aid which is open 24 hrs a day, they will usually let u pick up at 2am......fuck waitin till 8, lol
I tried that once at a walgreens, and they told me if a fill date is on the prescription, they make you wait until 9am of that day, yeah that one time, I was waiting out in the parking lot at 11.55pm til exactly midnight and casually stroll in to get it filled HA HA HA they said it had to do with their 'computer system' not being able to fill a c2 overnight, but that doesnt sound right to me, he was prolly just being a dick. Yeah though, I was up at walgreen at 7.45 sat morning for my refill, and plus that time of day, they can fill scripts in like 10 minutes, so very quick! took 2 though right off the bat, Im going to try and not blast thru them this month! Usually when i first get my refill I take 3 right away, just to make sure the wds will be fading away quickly! plus Ive got a connection for opana now too, due to me meeting some friend of a friend!! that will come in handy the next time i wd.
UH, I had to go like 9 days this time and this is methadone withdrawl, not some easy oxy/perc withdrawls! I can easily do 4 days though!
