So, I am an empath.

I find myself able to read people like books. Most of the time its through body language, but a great deal of other times, it is simply a knowing. I am adept at knowing the motives and aspirations of people, and of emphathising and hearing them.


But I have come to the realization that the majorit of people I come across are quite insincere, especially to themselves, and only serve to suck my energy.

Any other empaths out there?

 

Everybody is. Its just a matter of HOW empathic you are. Its the same thing for being psychic too.

Hmm yeah, I just learn about who people really are by having experiences with them, I just learn more and more and then my mind keeps track of every person I meet and I end up knowing very well how they think.

Yes, that was my point.

 

so you can read people's body language? this doesn't make you special. some people are naturally gifted at this. some people are naturally manipulative.

i'm naturally gifted at it, always have been, but i've also studied body language, especially minute facial cues such as eye movement, lip twitches, etc. it's easy to tell if somebody is lying or exaggerating or covering up something or just plain stupid or whatever other intention somebody can give away through body language. many factors contribute to this, like presence of voice, hesitation, willingness to share information, hand and foot placement, etc.

you aren't 'psychic' or 'empath'. you simply have honed your skills of perception. you could benefit yourself more by being honest with yourself and not deluding yourself into thinking you have magical psychic gifts. base your perception in reality and you will find it much easier to rely on your senses. good luck in reading people. it is a great skill to develop and it can help in nearly every aspect of life.

some people will believe anything if it's vague and 'spiritual' enough.

 

Having honed your skills of "perception" is being psychic. Psychic doesn't need to be anything "spiritual" or any of that bs, it is just using your brain to it's full potential. Just talking to somebody and learning about them is being psychic, taking it to the next level would be if you didn't need to talk and still could get the same info out of them just by thinking.

 

Actually they are equal to their own degree, male and female each according to their kind.

i cant respond seriously to any claims of magic psychic powers because it's a load of bullshit. just because the A&E channel does specials on 'psychic detectives' doesn't mean it has any basis in the real world. get your head out of the clouds

 

I everyone in the world are actually sympathetic, and kind to a large degree.

I think person self worth and confidence breeds hostility. So I am no empath I just feel people are naturally self focused, and if happy in mind, happy in body.

Body language is nothing psychic, it's pretty easy to understand and everyone understands it on a subconscious level anyways.
