so how do you deal with looney bin, crazy family members, HF?

And by "crazy," I dont mean the uncle who's a little off. I mean hold-a-knife-to-my-neck-in-front-of-everyone-at-thanksgiving-dinner crazy..

everyone is crazy in my family.. dealing with them is something I do naturally since birth, but I can't deal with normal people.

 

Yeah, I can kind of relate. It's much more difficult for me to deal with "normal" people. I don't really know what to talk to them about.

It helps that there is a looney bin directly across the street from me.....within sight from living room window. People tend to act a little less crazy when the bin is within throwing distance.




In all seriousness I would have to agree with Laety and Pavel. Maybe not to the extent of a knife to the throat at Thanksgiving dinner, but "normal" is not normal at all. Crazy is not only a lot more fun, but it's my family's norm.

my mom's pyscho, always accusing me of shit.
she went through my text messages on my phone
and saw a text to my friend that said i took a pregnancy
test..it was negative damn. (as in sarcasm duh) and then
she saw a video my friend colin took of me when i was high
so she called me and told me that she knew i was trying to
get pregnant and that i'd probably sell my baby for drug
money. haha..psychooooo

If someone actually held a knife to my throat, they would never be at my house again, family or not. They may even be charged.

The crazies I have to deal with are just loser types with drug/alcohol abuse problems. I get through it and don't have to do it again until next year. If it's not at my house, a few drinks help.
