I am almost 27 and have been with my husband since I was 17. We get along great, laugh together a lot and mostly sing of the same hymn sheet, except when it comes to sex. I am starting to get really fucking frustrated to be honest. We have sex a lot, almost everyday but it's just so frigging routine. I've tried to talk to my husband about it but I think I would be better off talking to the wall. He just cannot discuss sexual matters. There are so many things I want to try and I have tried gently suggesting them but his reaction to what I would consider fairly tame things just makes me feel dirty but not in a good way. He must have fantasies, everyone does right? So how can I get him to open up and explore these? I love him and like I said apart from sex things are great so I don't want this to destroy us but I'm just not sure I can keep things going as they are. Sex is really important to me and I want to explore different things. Has anyone been in a position like this? Did you manage to change things?

What type of sexual experience did each of you have before you got married? I'm assuming since you got married at 17, not a lot. This is why I think it's so important for people to have a number of sexual partners before they settle down and choose to be monogamous for the rest of their life. Otherwise, how do you know what you like/want sexually yourself and from a partner?
