Smoking mushrooms?

I haven't seen a single thing on this website about smoking mushrooms. I was just wondering if there was something really bad about doing this that I wasn't aware of? I think I've probably seen more people smoke mushrooms then eat them..

I figure the heat from smoking them will kill the psilocybin

My friends said they smoked some leftover shrooms after a trip. This was a few days after one of them had their first mushroom trip (orally) and he said he preferred smoking it to eating it. He used some weed too but said he was tripping nicely although it was a bit shorter. I certainly don't think I would experiment with this route unless I grew.

I'm sure the psilocybin/psilocin does degrade but possibly with some other herbs and the thin insulation of mushroom flesh you can get something from smoking it.

I believe amanita muscaria are smokeable.

 

they smell the same when burning, i havent had any buzz from smoking them. Didnt get a buzz 20minutes ago from smoking the sillysibin either. but it tasted cool. better than tobacco..

 

Smoking Mushrooms, doesn't work, they say allot of stupid rumors like mushrooms; when smoked will make you go blind, which does not work ... Fire Sterilizes all bacteria thus it doesn't get you high.

Doesn't flame kill fungus? I have never heard of anyone getting anything off smoking mushrooms.

I just smoked some myself and Im not getting off on them, not in a sense that im tripping . no enhanced colors, nothing that says Im tripping. High tolerance maybe =/ my weed could over power it too,.

 

Hmmmm... My friends wouldnt lie about something like that. Perhaps it was the power of placebo along with an actual high from the pot or something. Maybe even somewhat of a flashback.

 

I'm pretty sure smoking mushrooms doesn't work. people might tell you it'll work, but that's just cause they think it's funny to fuck with you. I'd tell you it would work if I could watch you do it right in front of me lol

 

There was no gain in them 'fucking' with me as I was not going to smoke mushrooms nor are they really that type when were talking about hallucinogenic drugs.

 

And searching erowid has landed some reports of smoked mushrooms being successful.

 

I notice that sometimes people just think they're high cause they expect to be. Even more so when it comes to internet shit.

i tried it once with some leftover powder id had from a batch id had...wasnt a lot but alls i got was a headache, coulda been a bad coincidence but yea, i didnt like it and i havent done it since then
