I'm trying to quit. I didn't have one till 11 p.m. last night. Then I smoked 3 more after that :(

Alcohol always does that to me.

Yeah I went running the other day and my lungs/throat were burning. I couldn't run more than a mile without taking a break.

I need to be able to run at least three without a break.

So, hopefully I'll cut back drastically.

i tried to quit before exams. that definately does NOT help you study. haha. i was so crabby.

I can probably go the whole summer... but when I'm drunk next, I'm sure i'll be right back at it. My friends smoke a TON. if they know i'm trying to quit, they wont give them to me though.

i'd just like to be an occasional smoker.
like very rarely and without the risk of ever being addicted

eric, i'm just picturing someone saying "come on, man, everyones doing it" to you now. lol

and rox- me too. i think my main "reasoning" behind smoking was that i was stress out from having two jobs at the time and since I couldn't drink it off (cant do that at work, lol), i would smoke until i was down to one job... then i just became a party girl again.. and it was all downhill. lol

Actually, the media, the politicians, most of the big corporations, and the big non-profits like the American Cancer Society and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation frown on it, but real Americans--the people who actually believe in freedom--couldn't give a fat rat's ass one way or the other.

Well you will be happy both ways I guess [IMG]

    - - -- you will feel better having given it up :)
    - - --- then again you will feel good as you are smoking :)

well I smoked once…its funny how it smell’s nice when I actually done it, compared to smelling it from someone else. Though I’m glad I’m not a smoker…

Drink is like a sin I have…I went like 2 months without the stuff…but whilst I was partying on holiday…I was there drinking coke and I could not hold the straw properly cause all I could think of was that…but I’m glad I never drank
