I clean it every month or so. It's funny, I had that smell on mine for so long, I got use to it. But I know that I have to clean it, otherwise, it'll get infectious (is that a word?). So, yeah. Sometimes, I forget to and when I....you know, it rolls back far enough to where it can be seen slightly, so I know I have to clean it then.
Some people are so hygiene obsessed... they fail to realise that smegma is normal. It's not pure bacterial sludge but dead skin cells that come away from the glans regenerating itself. My woman likes it as well. I clean daily but still have a bit of it form in only a few hours.
Actually smegma is a waxy secretion released from a gland in the foreskin for the purpose of keeping the glans moist & sensitive. This gland is obviously removed, along with the rest of the foreskin during circumcision, thus removing the natural source of moisture, duly causing the circumcised glans to dry up & lose sensitivity. I know there are those that are circumcised who will deny that there is any loss of sensitivity, but any uncut man will know only too well that for some dry cloth to rub against the glans will make him jump through the roof, whereas with a circumcised man, this is perfectly acceptable everyday contact with underwear. With sensations as vastly different as this, how anyone can claim that there is no loss of sensitivity as a result of circumcision is beyond me.

I too like a slight smell of smegma. Don't know if I would like it if visible "dick cheese" but would be interested to find a guy like that to see. Most guys do clean regularly but even the cleanest dick can have the smell (especially if you press your nose behind the glans when you first slide back that skin ) BTW, you do know that women have smegma on their clit, under the hood. You don't know the half of it! I was just going to ask one of these young men who have had the white cheesy smegma form under their foreskin if they ever ventured to taste it? I do like feta cheese But really I would never eat my own nob cheese. I wash regularly and don't get it that often- although I sometimes get the smell regardless of weather smegma is present or not.

I think the the smell under my foreskin is musky but not in an offensive way. I agree with Sarahrei in that if you leave it too long before cleaning and it can get funky! I just wash it every showertime, so its another excuse for a wank.....ha ha
