Small Nose hoops

I used to have a nose hoop (for a nostril piercing), but it got kinda funky, so I took it out. I haven't been able to find another small one that will stay close to my nose...the bigger hoops always get caught on stuff.

Does anyone know where I can find some really small hoops for my nostril online?

You can order rings as small as 1/4 inch which is pretty small. The only thing is that site is a bit overpriced but they have pretty good jewerly, I've ordered from there before.

 

They don't have really small ones...

i have never tried a hoop. perhaps i will for a bit...just to see what it would look like on me. thanks for the link too...

what about ebay? They have a policy where itis illigal to seel you any piercing jewelry that has been worn. I am sure you can find something. Type in your guage (mine is 18). I would look up (w/o quotes) 18g captive.

They also sell some with no ball that have a segmented piece (so it look like a regular full circle w/o a ball) but I couldn't get the damn thing back together and I couldn't find one in a small guage

 

I found some very small hoop earrings which I have occasionally worn in my nose piercing, although hoops that small are extremely fiddly to insert. I don't like bigger rings in the nose for fear of them catching on clothing, hair, etc. The tiny hoops came from Claire's Accessories, if that helps. Obviously they are meant for ears but I found them suitable for the purpose. That's the same place where I found my very tiny studs as well. Again, meant for ears, but I just remove the butterfly, bend the pin carefully and insert.

 

You also have to be careful of the guage. For instance, my nose piercing is an 18 guage. Many nose studs or rings are 16 guage.
I guess you could sretch it. I stick to the screw-type studs. I have found rings sort of hard to put in/take out but I like how the tiny ones look

 

Go to Walmart and look for baby hoops, the kind they put into infants ears. I have a set in silver and gold. Cheap, and great looking. Thats whats in my nose right now

 

First of all, Walmart sucks...second...any cheap jewelry makes my holes infected.

 

Well I'm allergic to anything that has nickel in it, and it makes my skin turn green and itch like a mofo... and I haven't had any problems with the jewlery from Walmart... its the cheapest place I can find within a 10 mile radius of where I can walk to.

 

Not to change the subject, but...do you know the poor management practices that Walmart has?

I don't know anything about walmart except that they aren't allowed a union. I don't agree with that, and alot of my friend who have worked there hated it (hence me never getting a job there)

I was just saying that if you wanted a reasonable price for small nose hoops, then it might be someplace you could check out. Alas, it IS the only place close enough for me to walk to where I live, and thats after a 20 minute hike up a major highway.

I agree that the Walmart Corporation is crap.

I don't purchase anything from them, in fact my nose hoop was the last purchase I made from them in January. I only ever go there if its an emergency (and my mother forces me because 'why drive 30 minutes to the mall when walmart is just up the highway?' )

I'm all for value village and the good will and salvation army if I can get there. Most of the time, I play wardrobe swap with my friends.

I was simply suggesting something to you, you asked for opinions. I gave mine. Obviously our opinions differ so lets leave it at that.

 

Everytime you say something I shoot you down? First, I just asked if you knew about Walmart's management practices, and then I was just wondering why, if you think WalMart is crap, you would suggest people go there...

Sorry, I wasn't trying to be mean, I was just making sure you knew about what Walmart does...most people don't know.
