Do you skip any meals? I stopped eating breakfast a few years ago. Sometimes I don't even eat lunch. Is skipping meals any bad for you?

I skip breakfast and lunch a lot and it's horrible because I over eat at night or I go to bed and wake up in the middle of the night starving and panicked.
It's bad for you because it makes your blood sugar drop. I used to be a huge breakfast eater and I was a lot less flustered during the day then.
Also, not eating every four hours slows your metabolism down.

I don't eat breakfast... ever. And as horrible as they say it is for you, I can not stomach breakfast without feeling an absurd amount of nausea the rest of the entire day.

But is it bad? Hell yes it is. And I will be the first, last, and most apprehensive to tell you so. Skipping meals fricks with your metabolic rate, makes your blood sugar drop, as Lynsey said.

Overall, as well, it depends on how many meals you're skipping. Just skipping breakfast every morning isn't highly uncommon...but if you're say skipping more than one meal a day, that's definitely not good for your health, as well as it isn't good for weight control or energy.

If you have an issue with eating "square meals" try instead to eat smaller "snacks" throughout the day.

To keep a consistent diet is the best way to go... if you eat the same amount of good, healthy food everyday, that is much better for you than deciding one day to not eat lunch, and another day, maybe you'll skip brekkie and lunch, or switching them around. Your body rolls on a schedule more than you may understand it does.

Overall.... I wouldn't skip meals, if I were you.
But then again, I'm not one to talk.

I have read that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because the body needs nourishment after resting for a long time. That's why it's a break after a fast.

I used to be the same way apples+oranges, and still am to some extent. I used to get sick in the morning if I ate anything, even drank anything thick like milk. Now I keep protein bars on hand so at the very least I can wolf one of those back with a bottle of water. Only 200-250 calories but like someone stated above your body needs fuel after sleep otherwise it dosent work properly. I find that after 10am I can eat pretty much anything, just right when I wake up I dont feel like anything.
