exploding chakras? good interpretation, i guess that's what it is

 

thats the one actually haha. theres a definite resemblance. you captured the motion/movement and abstraction of the style. very nice.

have you seen the other one the artist did for Flying Lotus' music video too?

pork, i checked that out. yeah i can see it.
i'm kind of surprised at how easily similarities are drawn from one 'psychedelic' artwork to another

 

in my mind, when i was remembering it, it seems A LOT more similar. but once i looked at the painting, they barely resembled each other. but the "idea" is there.

update on it
went and bought a 12 pack colored pencils for 12 bucks, originally 19 and it doesn't have a fucking purple?! oh well, made do with 'violet blue' and red
