Skatepark Thread

since there is a number of skatepark inhabitants here in the lounge lets keep all of our " my sport is more HXC than yours.... etc." out of other threads.

Our skatepark is shite...surprised the council even put the money together for that though so can't complain really

 

i dont skateboard or anything.. but it is really popular where i live and i think it would be a good idea of someone locally invested in opening a local skatepark it would be good for them.

 

my local park is shitty too. But i'm super close to louisville which is one of the top 10 parks in the US. its dopeeee

Around here we only got one outside park (well there another but it's on the other side of the city).

It's basically the hangout spot for the summer. Everyday we all go there, there's like 20 regulars and then some new people come everyday.. Fuck I love the summer. Just sittin' on the box with all your buddies smokin' joints and watchin' the summer days go by.

We have a skatepark around my area, but I forget what its called or I'd put up some pics.

I don't skateboard or anything extreme like that, but one time me and my bro found an old wheelchair and would cruise down the road on that and try to do jumps and shit hahah. I was standing on the back once, and he was sitting and we were going so fast down the road and ended up flying into this hill and I hurt my ankle

both those parks are sick but turner is the best one hands down.

 

For the past two years I've been hearing about them building one near the Charles River, but that still hasn't happened yet!Imagine how sick that would be.It's supposed to be 40000 sq ft.There also used to be the Underground skate shop with a few ramps and whatnot so people could ride.Most kids around here just ride the street though.
