I'm pretty fucking pumped about it; I'm FINALLY doing my first suspension. It'll be a suicide, probably four hooks. Weeeee, I can't wait! Anybody been suspended before? I wouldn't say I'm "afraid" or "nervous", per se, but it is going to be somethin' else, knowing that four inches of skin is holding up my heffer ass. What was yr first time like? My piercer said the main goal this first time is pretty much just to get off the ground, even for a second. I'm fairly confident I'm not going to pass out or go into shock or anything, but it would be nice to get some feedback on what goes through peoples' minds right when it happens.
i have not suspened yet. however i plan on doing so when i am old enough. i bet its going to be such an amazing experience! you have to let us know how everything went after you do it =]
At my tattoo/piercing shop. My piercers have been doing it for years and years and finally said they'd be willing to suspend me. They have a whole fucking rig set up above the drop ceiling in the main lobby of the shop.
Yes, post pictures. I used to know some people that were into it and considered it, but, in the end, I was too chickenshit. For being as heavily tattooed as I am, I HATE pain. Props to you, though.
I stayed up for a few minutes, apparently. Which I guess is really good for first timers; most only stay up for ten, fifteen seconds tops. It only FELT like MAYBE 45 seconds, though. The actual piercings were whatever. Yr back's meaty, and my piercers are badass. I walked around with them in for a little bit, to get used to the feeling of 'em in. Then he attached me and added some tension, did that for a while, walked back and forth. He added some more tension, and I was on my tiptoes.. started to hurt. The most excruciating point was when my toes were almost off the ground. right when I left the ground was the WEIRDEST feeling of my life. Complete full-body confusion. I could feel my brain saying "OH SHIT OH SHIT OH SHIT DON'T GO INTO SHOCK OH SHIT BREATHE WHAT THE HELL" ... Then I plateau'd. And then it was fine. I started swinging a bit, had Tyson push me like I was on a swing. Totally unreal. I think the worst part of the whole thing was that I couldn't move my shoulders like, at ALL. I don't have a lotta muscle strength up there, so my skin was pulling my shoulderblades up and in and I couldn't do much to relax 'em and pull them down. That ended up being the most uncomfortable bit, and why I came down, not the pain from the hooks. All in all, I'm uh... <_< I'm hooked. Hahah. I'm gonna try again, and we're gonna mess with the placement of the hooks, try and get it so I can hold myself up better.
Cool Well don't hang around too long before the next time or the suspense will be too much... hurr hurr
