Hi, new here and need a dream interpretation. I'd ask my dad but he's all weird and likes my sister more than me so will probably get more concerned about her than my dream. Anyway my name is Monica, nice to meet all of you! In the dream I heard from a cousin that she was worried that my sister was going to kill herself cause of something cryptic she posted on Facebook. Something about it being winter even though it was summer, I don't quite remember. So I got worried and started to dive into what I could about my sister's life without actually asking her because we aren't close. I found out that she was really stressed out about grad school and so as a hobby had enetered a photography competition. Well she thought she was going to win said competition but didn't and got really upset. I went to the exhibit to see her picture and thought it was really good. As I was leaving I heard her having and argument with her boyfriend. He was accusing her of something (I couldn't hear what but I could hear her) She ended up saying, "Shut up Zac (which is not her boyfriend's name in RL) I don't ever want to see you again!" He stormed off and she went and sat down on a hill in the shade. She was crying and I walked over to her and told her that I heard the whole thing. She said it was too late now because she had already drunk the poison. Arsenic is what she said it was. I started to flip and told her I was going to call 911. The thing was I didn't have my phone on me. The rest of the dream was spent trying to desperately find a phone. I ended up having to break into a building by smashing a few windows. When I got to the phone I picked it up and my dad was already on the line. I shouted, "DAD! CALL 911! LIZ DRANK POISON! I'M CALLING AN AMBULANCE TOO!" I looked out of the window to check on Liz and she was sitting there (In a bride's maid gown from a recent wedding) crying. She kept saying it was too late, too late. I went to pick up the phone again and my mom and dad were on the line, arguing about if I was telling the truth or not. I convinced my mom I was telling the truth and she proceeded to blame me for the whole thing. (Which wouldn't be uncommon as I am the black sheep) so I hung up the phone again and started to scream and cry. When I picked up the phone again the line was clear and I dialed information to contact my ex-therapist who I am still in touch with. In the dream I didn't have her number. As I was doing this the police and ambulance arrived. The police wanted to arrest me for breaking into the building i had broken into to use the phone. That's when I woke up. Crazy huh? Any idea what this could mean? ~Monica
Monica, you must have felt awful. I felt really bad for you when I read this dream. I don't think this dream means that your sister is planning to kill herself. I suspect this dream is much more about your feelings for your sister and for your parents. It sounds like the situation is really unpleasant, and this dream is your way of processing all of that. It's about being the black sheep and feeling really frustrated and unhappy about that. I've heard people say that when you dream of someone dying, it means that you really don't love that person. At least in this case, I disagree. This seems to mean that despite whatever else is going on in your family, you do love your sister. Otherwise, you wouldn't go to such efforts to help her. Somehow it is clear to me that you don't deserve to be the black sheep.
