At first I just laughed and thought "What a dumb Question!" Then I realized I've had that problem - hell, I'm sure we all have!!! I have tried different things - never thinking that it might make a difference or have a consequence. The best thing I ever found was at the local supermarket along with the laundry soap, bleach and things like that. It was a special "goo remover" with a very strong citrus smell, don't remember the name. It was made to remove all sorts of sticky adhesives, chewing gum, etc. Are we talking about "Sterile Clean" or just "Usable Clean"? If you need sterility a follow-up wiping with alcohol should do the trick.
First take a sharp blade (knife, razor, etc) and skin off the kief. (Stick that in a pipe and smoke it!) Then grab a cotton ball, soak it in fragranceless fingernail polish remover and scrub the blades and hinge of the scissors. Wipes off fast and clean. Cut through a little tinfoil to resharpen scissors and you're good to go.
Lady Greene nailed it. I find that barber scissors work best for me. I use 2 kinds--a big pair to remove buds from stems and a another pair with long narrow blades ofr the removal of leaf. I've been doing this for so long I can do a damn good job of removing leaf by hand, with no tools at all.
