Single trying to find a girlfriend

So I am a 35yo man. I am single and have been for awhile. I have tried many different dating apps. They are either full of fake accounts, cost to much or a number of other things.
Does anyone have any tips?
If there are any people in Minnesota that know of good places to meet single women.

 

I had a lot of success on dating sites, but if you want to avoid those, then try a site like MeetUp. It's free. You find groups of people with similar interests. Then you meet up in groups for events. Who knows, maybe you hit it off with one of the single women there.

There is a group for just about everything. People that just like to go for walks, yoga, sports, movies, karaoke, museums, whatever. Then even have meetups specifically for single people.

I met women from a trivia group meetup. Trivia was something I enjoyed doing, so it served 2 purposes.
