Why do they call planets planets instead of plans? Is it because they are the female part of the plan? Sorry, just had to ask. Gaea and all that...
I have no clue as to why you would think that the words plans and planet are related.. but ok. Here is the answer as to where the word 'planet' comes from: "late O.E., from O.Fr. planete (Fr. planète), from L.L. planeta, from Gk. (asteres) planetai "wandering (stars)," from planasthai "to wander," of unknown origin. So called because they have apparent motion, unlike the "fixed" stars. Originally including also the moon and sun; modern scientific sense of "world that orbits a star" is from 1640."
as in, if it wasn't then we are nothing more than a simple figment of somebody, or should I say 'somethings' elaborate plan? we did create a vicious machine, so does that have any implications towards our creator/ idunno, other than questions like theese are irrelevant. man or machine, this is what we have become. plan'it
It's like this thread is taking place in one dimension and I'm definately in some other 'cause I have really no clue what you people here are saying.. hehehe..
