Hi,has anyone on here heard of: Simon Dupree & The Big Sound ?

A long forgotten British white soul-group from the 1960s.
They were the subject of a 1967 BBCTV documentary:Man Alive:'The Ravers'.
Which was about groupies hanging around the band.
They had a acerbic oriental-sounding hit: 'Kites' in December 1967.

They are now out on a 2 C.D. release by E.M.I. with blasted copy control written into it ;so I can't burn a c.d on my comp!!! .

Thanks.I wanted to cull a song: 'Like The Sun:Like The Fire' off this double c.d. to burn before 'Windy' by the Association, then 'Light My Fire' by the Doors but thanks to E.M.I. techno-sods;.........all my plans are ruined.

    I recommend you buy them;honest - they're good!!.:)

The double c.d. was only £12. (Maybe $18 in U.S.?).
