Does anyone have an opinion on the best mesh size? I know that 110 will produce excellent hash from only the finest-grained kief, but may lead to waste (unless you extract the rest as hash oil).
I'm not sure what size the screen is in my shaker box, but the yield and quality are both awesome for it's small size. I'm guessing it's between 120 and 150 since reprocessing using bags, there's little left coming under 160. So that yields all trichs and terps and full flavor from trim. Those #s are opening size in microns.
You could use one of these @Toker - With it you can count the threads and thereby determine the thread count... Printers also use them to make sure they have proper registration of all process colors in CMYK.
