Signs that aren't compatible

Could someone please help me out with this one? Who works with who and vice versa? If the wrong signs mix what can happen?

each element has three signs and normally one
understands easily people of one's sign, and the the other five of the same polarity (+ or-)

Air Signs are:

Earth signs are:
Taurus
Virgo
Capricorn

Water signs are:
Cancer
Scorpio
Pisces



Nothing "happens" if you aren't compatible, the realtionship will either take a lot of work, or it won't work at all.

If you are compatible, things will still take work, but it'll be much more fun.

Being an earth sign, I find that earth people understand me 100%, fire signs and air, we clash
tremendously. Water signs I find them interesting enough, yet not clashing.

People read a lot and get confused about the compatabilty thing, yet it is that simple.

The variants come when for instance an earth sign has a fire rising or moon, and the other (exact sign) has an air rising or moon.

Well if you read between the lines, or experiment around,(get to know many people) great chances are that they would have a compatable birthday.
If they don't, it would be a good exception, or the would be faking it. Anyone with just a little understanding of this (like me) knows this is so.

 

I must be a variant then. I have a earth sun sign with a fire rising and a fire moon. What does this mean then as far as who I should be able to relate too? Can these aspects overpower my sun sign?

The sun sign overpowers all, I think.

I'm earth with air everywhere else, but my feet are on solid ground when it comes to thinking acting and being.
Some say your rising is what you show the world and I find that to be true.

The combination of positive and negative elements (see "superbasic astrology") makes us tolerate or get along to some degree with all 12 signs, but people the same sun sign is the easiest to understand. How you like people different or same as you is another thing.

I'm a fire sign who had the most dynamic relationship with a water sign - pure steam.

There are too many variables - you could go with fire signs, moon signs, 7th house, 8th house, 2nd house, 3rd house, 11th house..., if the Moons are in the same house, if the Suns are in the same house, if Venus is in the same house...

 

Are Earth signs compatible? Say... Taurus on Taurus?

 

When talking about compatability, it can get complicated. I have studied astrology for several years. I still am perplexed by the amount of facotrs that go into compatbility, when using astrology to guide you- However, this is what i know- you can go to several websites and books and they will say inconsistent information. Therefore, it is best to understand how the aspects of astrology can guide, help, or even end a relationship, simply based on compatability.


You really must complete a chart to undertand the full potential of any relationship. For example, I a Gemini Sun, Capricorn Rising, and Pisces Moon. I have a buubly Gemini bubbly personality, Capricorn attitude, and have Pisces emotions. There is a lot more than just what surfaces from someone's sun sign

I have come to find out that Saggitarius and Cancers dont get along very well. I'm a sag and most the cancers I know, I have a hard time with.

 

well for a taurus they can get along with other earth signs. But everyone is different. Other Tauruses, Virgos and Capricorns are probably the easiest for Tauruses to get along with. Then next would be Libras (libras are air signs) (mainly b/c they have the same ruling planet. Venus) Tauruses can get along with Geminis and Leos but they can still be a bit irritating. Aquarius and Sagg's are the hardes for Tauruses to get along with. But yah, everyone is different really.

I don't understand how this compatability thing works. For those that believe in it, are you guys saying that you wouldnt give someone a chance if you believe they are not compatible with your sign? Sounds pretty ignorant and a little prejudice to me.

 

never, I give everybody a chance. My longest relationships with have been with people I am not supposed to be compatable with, like a Scorpio and a Cparicorn, and I'm a Gemini- I am glad I didn't pass these people up because of their sign.

 

So then whats the point of this whole compatability thing? Is it to try to make the unsure, sure? "Knowing" how that other persons is, without actually getting to know them?
