whose imposing this arbitrary scale, and what on? i used to get pissed when i wrote film reviews and people asked me to do stars or mark the film out of 10. if you can do that, your review is shit. no film ever lacked nuance to the point where you could accurately place it on an arbitrary objective scale.
Nothing needs to be rated or judged. Neutrality is a wonderful thing, but finding passion brings joy.
I think if you measure your life on a scale such as that you are not going to be living it quite as much as you could. Better to find the good and go there than to live on the negative side. The negative is always going to be there but it does not have to be what you dwell on.

this is why i believe in everything except one: that everything we don't know, has a damd thing to do, with what anyone pretends to know about. especially what dominant organized beliefs pretend to know about it. there could be a million zillion gods and goddesses, and none of them have a damd thing to do with anything. not even any of the names humans have made up for them. not even terms like gods and goddessess and angles and demons and any of that. as for good/bad, there is only one good/bad: bad is what screws up the kind of world we all have to live in, and good is the research and self discipline to avoid doing so.
