Is it a good idea? I was gonna crush some dry shrooms, melt aome chocolate, wait for it to cool(as not to damage the psilycibin) , mix the shroom powder in and cool in a mold. good or bad?
just wondering if anyone had tried it before, I know people have dipped them, but I don't know if anyone has made one into a bar.
why does it still have to be cold while you eat it? once the shrooms are dry you can store them at room temp.
It works splendidly. What I do is buy the giant hershey's crisp bars, since that chocolate is softer to begin with, powder the mushrooms up, weigh out the dose and mix it with enough chocolate in an ice cube tray. Ice cube trays work great, each is sort of it's own little mixing bowl and it dries in a manageable sized cube, as for storing, I've stored at room temp for months as well as the fridge for months and both worked just fine, also don't worry about the heat and psilocybin, if you melt the chocolate to a manageable consistency any psilo you lose won't even be noticeable. This is definitely my prefered method of taking them, not that shrooms taste bad but these taste awesome!
I think i'll just melt a hershey bar and add the shrooms then mold back to original shape package it back up, go into a store put it on the shelf wait till someone buys it fallow them home and watch them eat it.....see what happens..
Don't crush them, grind them (coffee grinder). And you don't have to wait for the chocolate to cool. It's a pain in the ass to stir in, if you do. I've baked it at 350 for 30 minutes and not lost any potency. No need to wait.
