is it common to go to one of there shows and immediately find some sort of hallucinogen? I'm going to the Halloween ball and i would like to get a 10-20 sheet and dose 3-4 tabs there. That's why I'm asking if anyway has ad any experiences with shpongle shows Thanks HF CCS
Well this is the first year that Shpongle has played live in the U.S. I'm not sure if that really differs from Shpongle's DJ Sets in terms of psychedelics that will be present but I went to see a Shpongle Dj set last year and I got offered a hit of LSD.
wait... are you infering it's not the shpongletron this year?? bummer but it'll be a great show hopefully thanks dude
Every shpongle show I've been to I've broght stuff with me, so I didn't really look. I know everyone there was on something though, so somebody's got something. Probably a ton of molly, a good amount of lucy, and lot of ketamine can be found, depending on where you go. At shpongletron lots of people were askin if wanted k. Im a good ol fashion lsd kind of guy, but if you like k its pretty much at every rave now. If you at a big venue, you can probably find 2cI and more exotic stuff. Or even DMT.. You never know! Either way sphongle is amaazzing. Shpongletron was the psychedelically memorizing, and Ill be extremely excited if I get to see them live.
^ Thanks dude that was helpful! i have about 240 or so dollars, and i really just want to pick up as much acid as i can with hopefully some DMT for divine moments, i really don't want to roll. It's going to be epic
Um... hopefully? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBWVZHVP-0A&feature=related"]Shpongle - Live in Concert - Part 02 - HQ - YouTube I will echo what GB said... I saw the dj set earlier this year and brought 4 aces. Most people were lit, talked with a few people and while no one offered me anything (might have been obvious I wasn't looking) it was a very psychedelic crowd. I wouldn't go expecting it, bring something along and then if something is offered, great. If not, still have a good time. I'm not one to travel for a day to see a show, but who knows when they'll perform the full show again. Yes, should be amazing.
When I saw Shpongle in June I brought my own shrooms. I went by myself and no one offered me anything.
Went to a Shpongle concert and tripped by yourself? Sounds kind of lonely man, did you enjoy yourself?
It was cool. All of my friends stopped tripping years ago and most of them listen to 80's rock and metal. So, when I go to raves or anything like that, I go alone. Even the Shroomery people from N.O. that I've recently met don't like electronic dance music.
I had 2 tix and a good friend had to bail a few days before due to circumstance, I went alone and had an amazing experience. I didn't feel alone. I would seriously question why I wanted to go, why I wanted to go and trip, and why I want to have psychedelic experiences at all, if I was unwilling to go without a date or friend. That's just me tho. edit: I'm not saying its not fun going with someone, it just shouldn't be a requirement.
Well this is Back in the Big apple, so I'm not really expecting a shortage of L or even mescaline. It's just going to be one big tripping crowd I would think.
So you're going to the one on friday night in the city? Cool beans. What I can't figure is how they are doing a show on friday night in NYC then going to the west coast and doing one the next night. Seems like a logistical nightmare. Maybe they're renting a plane, is the only way I can see it unless they have 2 complete sets of gear, not likely. Have fun and be safe.
Yea it confused the hell outta me at first, and it still does a little bit. i would have to think he must leave NYC almost immediately if he doesn't have 2 sets. Thanks man, I'm going with some buddies so it will be really relaxing (hopefully)
Almost every member in Shpongle is in a separate music project as well so time constraints may be an issue as I believe they are working on a new album too but it seems like they should be able to get at least a day off to travel. @voyage: Think the setlist will be mostly similar to what they got on youtube?
I haven't a clue. I wouldn't be disappointed if it were, but whatever it winds up being I expect it to be pretty awesome. What do you think? If they are working on new material, prob a mix of new and "classics" ? I hope my expectations aren't too high.
There are a couple tracks like 'Behind Closed Eyelids' and 'Shponglese Spoken here' that I didn't hear on the London youtube show that I think would be really good. There is also like a 2-3 song medley that closes out the album Nothing Lasts... which would be really amazing live with electric guitar and stuff but I doubt they'll play that.
Yes, the Nebbish Route and Falling Awake... wow. I dunno, again I hope my expectations aren't too hi. I can't imagine it not being amazing.
