Shower before and after Sex?

I've heard showering before and after sex is a healthy thing, but although I've never had sex myself, so I don't know. Anyways, do you shower before and after sex or not?

 

We do. Brush our teeth as well. I couldn't imagine picking up some dirty, sweaty slut bag from a club and taking that home and fucking it without a shower. Fuck. That. Shit.

Yea, people say that you should do each time after sex , i'm too lazy to do that EVERY time

 

Not only after sex, but before sex too? Any idea why?

 

I don't think a full shower is necessary. A wash cloth and some warm water should be more than enough.

 

A damp wash cloth opens skin pours and I can smell that. Basically if I can smell myself then so can she. Full shower for me is like a minute. I just prefer to be as clean as I can for her benefit. I tend to overheat though so I do have a habit of sweating so before any sexual activity somewhere on my body has been sweating and I prefer to rid all that, then rid it again once I'm finished.

 

Why do you need a shower before or after sex, though? I've no idea as I am a virgin.

 

I shower and wash my hair every morning, after drinking coffee and hopefully, taken a dump. If I'm going to have sex in the evening, then I ask myself if I was sweaty or had a poop during the day. If so, then yes, I take another shower. If not, then I figure I'm clean enough and she'll tell me if I'm not.

I rarely take a shower after sex. It's usually in the middle of the night, so I just wait until morning. If we have another round during the night, we won't do oral, just fuck.

 

I shower every morning and night. But we usually have sex regardless lol. And I will do oral on him after he's had sex with me. I do like to wash after we've had sex, simply because he usually makes a mess on or in me.

 

I don't think you NEED one, IMO. I just do a quick wash on whatever got messy. As long as you're showering on a regular basis, there's no need to shower every single time you have sex.

Good lawd if I showered every time I had sex, my water bill would be through the fucking roof.

 

I mainly shower at nights & not every day & sometimes shower during the day. I don't just shower the day after sex unless I know I need one.

 

We both shower before because he works hard and can sweat and I just like to if it's been a long day since I had one.
After? Na, I shower in the am anyway.

Of course I wouldn't bother for a nooner,,,

 

we have a shower in the morning and one at night, we dont shower everytime we have sex, as long as you wash regular i dont see a problem

 

Easy solution.... Have sex IN the shower! Feels great with the hot water running all over our bodies..... Then when we've finished we soap each other up and wash each other's body...... All of which can and a lot of times does lead to another session when we get out and dry off!!

 

I have a tub and a double wide walk in shower,,, can you guess what the walk in is for,,, hahahaha

 

It really depends. I certainly shower some time before sex, but not necessarily RIGHT before; after sex is occasional, if I want to get the sex smell off of myself, but I actually often LIKE letting the smell linger. It's a personal choice for many.

 

wow, if my wife and I showered before and after sex, the first 10 years of our marriage would have been spent in the shower.

 

Before AND after sex... Not only is that wasteful, but hey, water is pricey man..

I shower once a month whether I need to or not.

 

We both shower and brush our teeth before having sex. (We've been married 8+ yrs.) I sometimes have a quick shower after sex (he doesn't.) Sometimes I don't shower after. If I don't shower after, I need to use a panty liner to catch the sperm otherwise you get a wet spot- not fun. He has a LOT of sperm, so panty liner is a necessity otherwise I have to change underwear and pants.
