The Three Phases,

The demand for resolution, driven by emotion, allows the solution to receive less critical scrutiny than it would under normal circumstances.

How do you keep kids from being exposed to that extreme filth on porn sites ?


Its simple you ban free porn so its a pain in the ass to get access and the porn sites be happy too now people have to pay.

What ever now I am falling into the problem reaction solution trap this is not about protecting kids they just want to build their digital dystopia.

That is interesting makes me feel more hopeful about the future online fake IDs make it more difficult to inflict the China style internet on Americans as fast as they would like too.

Sounds like the "Online Safety Act" that was brought in here in the UK. It's a pile of poo, and has resulted in millions of new subscriptions to VPNs like NordVPN and others. I have subscribed to one, and use it if I want to see things that are banned here in the UK without me providing proof of my age (75 !!!). However, by mistake I tried to log into this site a couple of weeks ago while I had the VPN open, and received the message that "You're banned from this site". So then I closed the VPN down and was able to log in without question.

 

But can't ID pictures be manipulated with AI? I'm just saying that this along with other online safety acts didn't really work did they? I still got online as a child, for example.
