Waitress got my order wrong and i corrected her when she gave me a totally different dish. The second meal (the right one) was super spicy and I couldn't eat much of it and now I feel sick. That's what I get for wasting the first plate....Or she was spiteful at having to come back and spit in my food

 

Well she would have figured it out when the table that ordered the food you almost got started complaining.

 

No, she just confused two similar dishes(the only 2 veggie ones) so there was no other person

 

oh. well in that case, im sure some employee bashed heartily then.

 

Don't trust waitresses. Trust me, I was one.

 

thats what ya get for ordering a vegetarian dish...... you can't mix up steaks.

LOL... you work in a restraunt for a couple years... and then you tell me that you cant mix up a steak... i swear some waitresses cant tell between a ribeye and the damn meat curtains hangin between their legs... waitresses/waiters are by far some of the dumbest people on earth....

 

which is probably why they are working as waitresses to begin with, I suppose. Interesting point

 

good servers at a nice restaurant likely make more than anyone in this thread so far, thats why they do it....doesn't seem so stupid to me

 

thats the key word here...... "good" servers at a "nice" restaurant.......... those are far and few between though

 

really? Every single time I've been to a nice restaurant, I've had a good server.

 

I've had some dumb ones at like 4 star restaurants......must have just been a cooincidence or something. Either way, a "nice" restaurant around here isn't easy to find. The one I work at is about it for nice ones with good waitresses. The rest of them provide mediocre service, good food, but nothing spectacular.

I live near pittsburgh. Out in the middle of nowhere. we only have a handful of places around here anyways. The nearest Denny's to me is about a half hour drive. The place I work at is a privatly owned restaurant/inn. They have to have good waitresses that are smart and can tell the difference between lamb chops and prime rib. You have to have half a brain even just to wash dishes in this place. (one of the shittiest jobs ever, I'm glad I only have to fill in for that on rare occasions.)

Yup, I know where it is. I live about an hour and a half from there though...... I'm way out in the mountains to the east of pittsburgh. But thats the closest city to me. Unless you count Johnstown, which is about 15 minutes away. But most people have no idea where that is, even though it is a pretty damn big place.

 

actually the restraunt i work at the waitresses arent that stupid actually.. there are a few... but when they are incredibly stupid.. i do whatever i have to to get the dining room manager to fire her or to make her quit... i keep the balance at the restraunt... and yea... just because some place is a "qaulity" restraunt.. doesnt mean they have their fair share of burnt out bulbs for waitresses

 

I honestly cannot remember a bad waitress once you get higher than the TGI Fridays, Dennys, Bob Evans range

 

there probably aren't that many, but it seems like I always get stuck with them.
