Well, I might get a job this summer, but if not, I'll have to get one around September or October. I haven't smoked since January as of now. If I do smoke now I only plan on doing it once or twice. I work out everyday too... but I do have a little fat on me if that makes a difference. I don't know if I could find a job that doesn't drug test if it came down to that... what I'm really scared of is a hair test. What do you guys think?

i dont think work places can take hair samples. and only once or twice you shouldnt have to worry as long as you wait a little while. Im not sure the rate at which the body removes THC. But it only takes a month if you continually smoke.

Here's my theory behind drug tests, don't smoke for like a week or two before you go for an interview, if they drug test you then, you should be good. And honestly, that could be only time you ever have to take a drug test for work unless they enforce a strict drug test for everybody once a month or something (no place does that haha!). After the first one though, they probably won't drug test you unless they think you do drugs, even if they know you do drugs, but you still do good work when you're there, they probably won't do anything because it isn't interfering with your work. This girl I know at work openly tells our managers that she pops X at raves and stuff, but she knows that work is for working, so the managers don't really have any reason to get her in trouble. Be smart about a job, work is called work for a reason, do what you get paid to do!

The only jobs that hair tests are jobs like working at a bank. I mean, I dont know about you but I wouldnt want some heroin addict handling money BAH. Most jobs take saliva test which are fucking terrible. They go back about 1-3 days. TOKE AWAY MAN TOKE AWAY!!!!

i've known people to smoke on the day of a saliva test and pass. i have only been drug tested once for a job and it was a saliva test, and i smoked the day before and passed.

saliva tests are simple, may be done on site, and they're cheap. for big companies who treat their workers like shit, its the test of choice (so long as the potential employee in question will have limited responsibilities...my job was at a chain grocery)

urine tests will be more tricky to beat, but impossible. an isolated session or two this time of year WILL NOT fuck you over this summer. hell, you could take a test as soon as a week after an isolated session and pass it, assuming you really have been clean for 6 months.

a hair test is very expensive and overly invasive, and almost 100% out of the question, particularly for a summer job.

blood test is virtually 100% out of the question as well.

    toke away.

My company is a subsidiary of a bank and they don't hair test. I have friends who work in banks at both the teller and managerial levels and they weren't hair tested. The vast majority of pre-employment drugs are urine.

Well, my last job was at a grocery store and they used hair drug testing.
