should i go black?

cuz once u go black its kinda hard to go back.. yes i am that laame but seriously im like 80 percent sure i want to colour my dreads black cuz my roots are black/brown and my ends are bright reddish blonde from this summer and its kinda annoying but i dunno if i want to commit to black what do yall think yes or no?

 

well if your roots are black meaning you'll only have to dye once then yea go for it because dying is a pain. I dyed mine yesterday and I'm still seperating the fuckers!
the thing about black (dye) is that it's so intense for the first while and sometimes you can't see the dreads properly because it's just one block colour...getme?

 

thats what i was thinking but i wouldnt have to dye often since my natural hair is black but my hair is sensitive to sun it lightens up FAST but i dont mind separting em lol

 

yeah i agree with what lux said. i dye mine black and it has very little dimension until is fades a bit, and by that time i have to dye the roots again. the cool thing that i like about black is it also dyes all of the nasty looking loose/dead/white roots. you know, the things that look like dandruff but it really just the root from where it used to be in your scalp.

Dom... you want them black, you know you do. =) We think you will look good with whatever colour you put on that pretty head of yours. I personally like natural looking... sooo, if you think black is where you wanna be, then go for eeet!

On a side note, I can't imagine dying my hair... Been dye free since 2000. Crazy. It just reeeeeks of work. I'm much lazier than that.

There is a part of me that wants some blond dreads mixed in amongst my brown... but the laziness just won't let it be.

i forgive u but ive deciding im going to go one or two shade below black that way its still natural looking but still dark enuf for me i just hate my blonde tips!!! they are too bright!

 

Just seen this. I was actually just talking about the subject too. I used to be a natural blonde then I dyed it black and now my natural colour is dark brown. I hate it. I really want to bleach my hair too. But I don't think my dreads can take it.
