when i was with my ex i was happy and it was exciting she was my first proper girlfriend but it went down hill after are first date which i cancelled this has happened twice with an other girlfriend i had but its not like a do it deliberately its just i never been on a date. so after that people started to destroy the relationship with lies and hatred so i called it a day. However recently i now started having feelings for here and Ive tried to get back with her but she refuses. Should i just move on or try to get her back. Also with the first date how do i make myself more modern its just if i date somebody they might not be like me a hippie how listens to 60s music non-stop and doesn't know anything about modern things that modern people do how do i improve and get modernized but still have that hippie factor. What do woman like who do stop acting like am sexually frustrated masturbate and more of a normal if you get what i mean if anybody has any advice please leave a reply also for people on the gay coming out for who are properly wondering but i thought you were gay well I am coming out as bisexual which i am happy with. Thanks for there support
Be yourself. Show her the things you want her to know about you. Include her into your life and try to make her happy as best you can. If you're hiding things from her about yourself though, you'd better be pretty damned good at hiding it. If you want to change yourself into what she wants you to be, good luck to you there.
Ex's are Ex's for a reason. Move on. It doesn't sound like she is interested in taking you back anyway so its not worth your time. You just need to look for someone that is into the same things as you are. Don't worry about being "modern". You like what you like. That's fine. Someone will appreciate you for that. You just have to look a little harder to find someone that doesn't fit the social norms.
Seems there are few things that you are considering - Basic rule of thumb for me would be - Be Yourself, True to your Heart and Conscience - Attraction and clarity will find its way
Modern can be highly over rated. example, one ex would constantly pull out his cell and play the most asinine ringtones in the middle of a conversation. If a guy can't talk to someone face to face without a fancy toy to fiddle with it shows lack of interest. Ipods can be neat, but playing with the track list every 5 seconds is just rude when you are trying to get to know a new girl. likewise, if you have an 8-track or real record player, playing with it ever 5 seconds when trying to get to know a girl is not cool even if your music collection is. Just put on a good album and walk away till it's time to flip it. The same gose if you got any Deep Purple after they made a cd, leave the cd alone, talk to the girl. Computers are neat, but if you have to prove you can use one in person to get a girl to notice you, she probably won't dig many of your hippy interests. And consider that you don't have to be a hippy to like hippy things. I love me a good drum circle, especially when 15-30 drummers rock out, but I would not call myself a hippy. Nine Inch Nails and j-pop make me hapy, but I alo love The Doors and Led Zeppelin. Hell, my curent fave j-pop tracks are in the Cabaret style, "Fast Car" and "Make It Happen" by Namei Amuro if you want to search. How modern do you really need to be if you treat a girl like she is someone special and share your interests? You know how to log into this site so you're fine as is. And if your Ex doesn't value your company, go find a girl who does. If you freeze on dates, stop going on first dates and arrange to meet at a gathering separately.
It is clear from her attitude that she doesn't want to be friends with you again. Please stop looking for 'get your ex-back ideas' because it doesn't work in all cases. Look for better girls around and move on with your life.
moving on is usually the correct answer to this question. I've been having the same internal conflict, but I think with exes like this you just build them up too much in your mind and all it does is gets int he way of experiencing your life. Novelty slows down time. ALways seek novelty, for time is the most precious thing that humans have and you should try to make the most of it.
Wow OP, I really tried to read your post, but damn man... I know you're from across the pond but I've been to England and have heard "proper" English but you don't seem to speak it. Not trying to make fun of you but I can't tell if you're on drugs or what. I mean seriously try to re-read what you wrote. If it makes sense to you well then good luck. My only advice is when at a total loss, when taking a girl out try to treat her as you would a friend or buddy, nothing more. That's not to say make fun of her or whatnot, but just try to get to know her and not get too worked up. I just hope you speak better than you wrote here
thanks and i speak perfect English but i come from Scotland not England and everyone makes spelling mistakes also not on drugs. but thanks
