Should I do LSD?

lately, I have been having this urge to drop acid. Should I go along with it or should I resist temptation?

 

i say no, cause im sick of people (in my family) living in the streets on heroin and cocaine

 

But I just want to do it once, to test the theory if it can really be a "consciousness-expanding" experience.

 

I don't know, friend...How trusting are you of the people you are around? Will one of them be sober whilst you trip? There is a lot to consider when you decide to try LSD.

Don't make this a spur of the moment decision.

 

LSD isn't addictive. Here's a key list of questions to consider before you trip:

1) Will someone experienced tripsit for me?
2) Am I mentally stable enough to trip?
3) Will I be in a safe place I am comfortable?
4) Will I have the next day to rest and recover?
5) Have I read much on this?

 

I think I mentally stable enough to trip... and I do not really think I need a tripsitter.

I want to trip alone, in the woods outside my town... I want it to be "freak-out" experience of descent into darkness, and then the heroic re-emergence out of it.

make sure you read up a lot on it. erowid.com has some good stuff.
make sure you're ready for it. read read read.

it's not the same as cocaine or heroin. nonsense like that is like white noise.

I say go for, LSD is not in the same class as herion or crack or cocain, it is not addictive. Also, depending on how much you take of course, you should be able to control yourself just fine.

 

Yeah, if I can control my emotions... then I can control almost anything. This whole episode is an exerscise in descent into darkness, into where the the world becomes loud and overwhelming, and the conquest of this world through control to gain new knowledge.

 

I think that would be great setting for it, I don't know that you'd have a freak out experience though..

 

If that's what you want, really I'd suggest shrooms over acid...

I could only thinnk of 6 great "acid-trip" songs. I will add more songs to it.

 

yeah... they are more accessible, too. But Acid is something of a classic. it is much more of an "intellectual" drug than shrooms.

tripping is not really learning how to control things....that is usually how you have a bad trip, trying to stay in control and plan things out...

Yeah... i wanna lose control and then regain it. And If that leads to a bad trip, then let it be so.

 

Bring paper and a pen or pencil (or more if you're gonna lose 'em.. ) and write down what you're experiencing... that can make for some... odd... songs/poems/stories...

 

take a 10 strip or two.... and get ready for the ride....... lol actually dont take that much.... flippin nut..... unless ya wanna be on a rollercoaster ride from hell
