should i be mad?

So today in school I had the same sub for government, and homeroom..this guy has been agrivating me since he started subbing for my school..he just has a superiouity complex...so i was leaving government class, andfter writing a journal about what i realy think of "freedom" grantd by the american government... so i guess he read it after i turned it in because as i was leavign the clasroom he said "You will live a long a dreary life", i looked at him and said "what did you just say to me"...so he said "all anarchists do"...i was really offended by this..i feel that its not his place to speak down on my political beliefs...so do you guys think that this is enough for me to talk to the principal about it?...i think that my right to my opinions was violated....but im not sure if im over reacting...

 

It sounds like he's just an asshole. An offhand comment like that probably won't get him in any trouble.

 

The Statement happens to be true, i believe you will have a long dreary life....
Though it wont be because of anarchy mostly because....EVERYONE DOES

Next time he subs for your class, write an entry about how some people think they are SO important that they must interject their opinions onto everyone else, and that their opinions actually matter to others....
That is what I would do.

 

Exactly what I would suggest. Or you could do what I did, find him on the way to his car after classes... You know where the story goes. I told my teacher to shut the fuck up and I'll see him later then I left and I did see him later as mentioned. I am writing like I just snorted some crack... Wah/

 

lol thanks guys!, i actually decided that i want to do something about peopls rights to their own political opions...im tired of people not being able to voice themselves because of the negative conotation of the words used to discribe their view points...i mean communist, and anarchist all hold such bad reputations not only in the united states but the world....even my dad told me,he respects my opinons but voicing them could ruin any chances i may have at being a respecible doctor(thats what i want to be when i get older...)i know people will read this and say "how cute she wants to change the world...she'll learn"...but i hope i never do...no this crazy sub is not the only reason for me doing it but it sure did spark the flame!!!( he dosent have a car...he rides a bike...lmao...well i think its funny)

 

meet him at his bike... and beat him over the head with it

 

put glue on his seat so when he sits down he sticks to the chair. then get a bunch of icky worms and put them in his drawer so when he opens it he gets scared. Then hang abucket of marmalade above the door with a wire aross the bottom of the door frame so when he walks in inthe morning he gets honey all over his head! then prank phonecall him for the next week

i feel your being a little hypocritcal...your attacking his beloved government and his political beliefs, so of course he'll get offended. And then him making a little offhand comment like that, gets you all in a tizzy? So i dont see his superiority complex, im not saying your views are wrong or anything, but try and see it from his perspective

Ask him what he mean't. Since you're already letting his opinion get to you you ought to find out what it is.

 

Is he descriminating in that he gave a bad grade simply because of ideas presented? Or is it just a comment that is the descrimination? If it's just a comment grow thicker skin and get used to it. Stick to your beliefs and continue to do so and there will be more than offhand comments. Learn to initiate intelligent dialogue over your beliefs and how to challenge his comments in a manner which puts him in the hotseat. Use your knowledge like a sword if you must. Or you could do like people said and go beat him up, that would prove alot.

 

He was a sub, not my real teacher...its not that i cant take those kind of comments, its just i think its completely uncalled for, expecialy in school...i think school should be a place where you can voice your opinions without worrying about scrutany...i dident attack any of his belifes in any way...i just did my work, and he had to make a comment...and no i've never really had my belifeschallenged before, so it is a new thing for me...but its still nto something someone should have to grin and bear

She did nothing to criticise his beliefs, he did much to criticise hers.

 

writing a whole paper about the backwardness of american society probably insulted his beliefs far more than a simple comment did to her's...but wat do i know
