But Rudy Guliani also dresses as a woman... the whole party seems to be filled with perverts.

They do represent a section of society... I suppose.

We found out today George Santos competed in Miss Gay Rio De Janeiro. They say he lost because he was too fat!

Now Santos says he's not going to serve on any committees. Looks like he got threatened by his fellow republicans. He said he didn't want to be a distraction, duh! And he was doing such a great job making the republicans look bad.

McCarthy made it sound like his recusal is just temporary until the toothless ethics committee gets to clear his name, which they will no doubt do, since republicans rule now.

You gotta love this CNN reporter's persistence. Santos must enjoy getting all this attention.

I didn't realize he's so tall. It seems if you're tall people are more likely to believe whatever bullshit you say.

to get elected by playing one's role playing character in real life, amazing, i sort of feel like, why didn't i ever think of that.
well bill marr explained how it worked, but i'm just in awe of how many people had to just not look, for it to work.

that a refuge from justice, in another country even, and then playing, and i have to wonder, living, this character he created.
with no anchor to anything in this universe the rest of us live in.

should i run for office as a green furred cat, or a galactic ambassador from another solar system?

Republican (is he really?) FABULIST George Santos (or whoever he is) is currently the subject of an ethics investigation (or is he?).

Reality is fluid around this shape-shifter.

Apparently there was a heated exchange between George Romney and the mistakenly-elected representative from New York at the State of the Union Address.

After the address, Romney spoke to reporters saying 'He shouldn't be in Congress and they're going to go through the process and hopefully get him out,' Romney told reporters after the speech. 'But he shouldn't be there and if he had any shame at all he wouldn't be there.'

According to Santos, Romney started off by saying 'you don't belong here'.

'Go tell that to the 142,000 who voted for me', Santos claimed he said in response.

    'You're an a**,' Romney says. 'You're a much bigger a**hole', Santos responded.

I think George Santos is actually Roger from American Dad.
The name George Santos sounds an awful lot like George Soros. I wonder if that's even his real name.

i don't know if he ever went through the legal procedure to make it his legal name, but i'm pretty sure it isn't the name he was born with.
its been mentioned, i forget what it was, but several people who have known and lived with him knew him by other and more believable names.

He was born George Anthony Devolder Santos and being of Portuguese origin they get four names, first, middle, maternal last name and then paternal last name. Similar to all Latin countries...

Explained many times over...yet a convenient way to have several identities :)

A lie, is simply someone else's version of the truth. We see plenty of examples here on HF.

I recall a certain soap opera star in the US, Erica Kane. She was a well-known fabricator of the 'truth.' When the writer explained her role it was said "Erica Kane has no concept of what reality is."
Same goes for Devolder/Santos man of mystery.

He reminds me of a Kristin Wiig skit on SNL "well, I blew up once, but......"
