maybe i'll get bitters and cherries and some stuff for old fashioneds nah, more likely i'll just smoke a bowl and have one or two on the rocks
well, its damn good whiskey, and my mother took me to the grocery for a few small items so i got oranges, club soda, sugar, and maraschino cherries, so all i had to do was make a quick run to the liquor store for a small bottle of bitters. now i got all the fixins for some old fashioneds, baby :cheers2: god i love this drink
Sounds fun I plan on having an interesting weekend, as well; particularly tonight, as I fully intend on consuming some 2ce and 2ci. I feel like half of the past week has been spent tripping. haha I've been having extremely intense trips every other night since the 17th. lol Perhaps I'm overdoing it, but who cares, really
2C-E AND 2C-I??? that's ambitious! 2C-E is something else, i've never tried 2C-I though. 2C-B is a time as well, but i personally think it lacks some of the depth of other psychedelics, unlike 2C-E. what dosages are you looking at? personally i'd recommend just 25mg of 2C-E on a light stomach, with plenty of ginger and cannabis on hand, and leaving the 2C-I for another time, but thats me. anyway, i'm finishing up one of the best old fashioned's i've ever made, and i'm fucking happy. about to roll a mini blunt.
Well, the night before last, I had 40mg of 2ce and 15mg of 2ci. I'm pretty much just using the 2ci to stretch the 2ce, so I don't have to take such high doses, though some would consider 40mg to be a high dose. The night before last, I was tripping so hard that I was fortunate enough to make contact with some sort of psychedelic octopus that ended up wrapping it's tentacles around me, then the octopus morphed into a tree, that proceeded to dry out and die. It was amazing, to say the least. I wish I could smoke that blunt with you, for I am weedless
i was for a very long time. this is a special treat, as is the good bourbon. i just used like a half a bud of middies to a grape swisher cigarillo. nothing special, its a total pinner. it will be enough for me, but i probably will wish it was bigger. but what can i do, i dont get weed often so i should make it last - but i can't buy a bag of middies without at least smoking ONE blunt, no matter how small it is :sifone:
Blunts are necessary, from time to time, even if it is a pinhead. You can always take a few hits from a bowl, if the blunt doesn't satisfy, but I'm sure it will do the trick:sifone:
hahaha, it did. just got home. its just starting to get nice and warm here. only a few types of trees are starting leaves, but lots of daffodils and flowers and things, and lots of trees starting to bud. its warm enough to not need a coat, but not hot. totally hoody weather. but it was sprinkling, a little bit of rain. warm rain is my absolute favorite weather, plus it keeps most other people indoors, and helps keep smell to a minimum, so i was feeling particularly fine about things. i got to the smokers' spot on the tracks, with a bench made from materials by the tracks and a trashbag hanging off of some rocks. the track happens to be in a trench cut out of mostly solid stone. limestone probably, it's all over the area. it's within visibility of roads if you stand in the middle, but tucked away just enough that passing vehicles aren't likely to notice you if you stick by the sides. and not near anything enough to advertise your whereabouts much. i had the blunt lit and was about halfway through the length of it when it started really coming down. i ducked under a little shelf of stone and stayed fairly dry while smoking, nobody around, nice and warm in my hoody listening to the rain on the stone all around me. by the time i finished i was pretty fucking high. still am pretty fucking high :sifone: i got home slightly chilly and barely able to see a thing because of the rain on my glasses, but i don't know if its the weather or the blunt or the three drinks i had before the blunt, probably a combination of the three, but i'm just happy as fuck right now. and had a fucking delicious sandwich for dinner. a lamb burger, with like rosemary and different herbs in it, with onion and tomato and lettuce and a tiny bit of sour cream to top it. juiciest, most delicious burger i've ever had in my life. it was pretty fucking amazing, and only 6.50, including some of the best fries i've ever had. and a good beer to go with it. totally going back there again. ah, things are good. i think i'll listen to some music
That sounds like wonderful times. I also love the rain, and it compliments a blunt, quite nicely. It's been raining in GA for the past few days, without the storming, but it's starting to turn into a storm right now, complete with thunder and lightning. I'm having sloppy joes and fries for dinner tonight, and I'm very much looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to tripping in the thunderstorm tonight. It should make for a rather intense experience.
oh yeah, that sounds perfect! i heard a little thunder and saw some flashes, but nothing major. still, its nice, and relaxing, refreshing, and comforting
It's definitely relaxing. Plus, to make things better, I'm staying at my mom's house for the night, and her house has a tin roof.
sounds so delicious.. i love bourbon. manhattans are a lovely treat... this is this natural vanilla cherry soda at whole foods that tastes bomb in them. what kind of bourbon? lately i have been getting down on bulleit... it's good straight.
bulleit is good. this is buffalo trace, on sale, so it was even under 20 bucks. but its a damn nice whiskey for the money, thats for sure. i was just going to give it a second try after a party where i drank WAY too much of it, and a lot of other things, and got unbelievably sick off of it. worst hangover of my life, i felt bad even on the second day after drinking. this was a long time ago, though, before i really grew to like bourbon on any level. now i like it a lot, though i still prefer scotch. but this is damn good for the money, i recommend trying it. i was dead set against ever drinking it again for the longest time. only time i can remember pouring liquor down the drain was what little was left the next day. but i'd heard so many good things about it, and i have a much better appreciation for whiskies now, and it had been long enough i thought i'd try it, and i'm not even the least bit sorry. i like it a lot! best for sipping straight, on the rocks, or in a cocktail, but not necessarily the best for shots.
mm i'll remember to give it a whirl i haven't done shots of whiskey since high school, and i'm pretty sure those days are over for me.
ouch, i burned my mouth on reheated pizza it was delicious, but damn microwave. i can't wait to have an oven for the summer!
