Should Assisted Suicide be Legalized?

Discussion in 'Mental Health' started by Psychopath, Jul 7, 2019.

  1. We don't show that same respect to those who are defenseless, though. It seems we only care when it has an impact on our own lives. If people start killing themselves, we think maybe that says something negative about our own lives. But it's okay to kill a brown person or abort a fetus.

yea, I guess. I just feel like it would be a real downer if that sort of thing were normalized.

  3. "Why?" is what concerns me. Honestly, do you think you'd end up alone?

I wonder what would happen if suicide were legalized.

We are more humane to suffering pets than we are to suffering family.

    That's a damn shame.

Having watched a couple of family members die from cancer. I agree it is a cruel world. how hard it would be to accept your time is up. She stayed strong through it all. And that is awful when a doctor tells you, you need to get your affairs together. Then when insurance pays only a certain limit. That is sad.

Make it legal for Harold Shipman to end the life of anyone that they choose in order to stop some suffering? Make it illegal to execute Harold Shipman for abusing that very right or executing such evil in order to deter millions of pointless murders?

Corruption can euthanize the innocent? Victims can not execute evil?

For the terminally ill, yes absolutally. There is no reason to force someone to suffer with an illness till death, if they chose to pass peacefully, they should be able to.

"Downer" maybe but look at it this way if you see a suffering dog, they do the right thing and end its life. If you've seen this happen its not very Humain at all. There are plenty of other ways to put a animal down but the drugs needed to do so would cost to much and be to hard for a Vet to obtain.
