why will people walk past 5 shopping carts sitting in front of the store, walk inside, then take a cart from the cart area? Would it be so bad to take one from outside?
maybe this only irritates me, as it is my job to collect carts at work (well, one of many tasks I do at my shitty job).
I take carts from outside, it only makes sense unless it's icky or damaged (I.E. pulls to the left or right, those are the worst sort of shopping carts) most non steering related shopping cart damage is fungible
Yeah, I used to do the same thing when I worked at a grocery store. What I don't like is when someone leaves a cart in a parking space, and then everyone else seems to think its a good idea to leave theirs there too.
SILVER BUFFALO ROUND UP! thats what we used to call it when we needed someone to go get the carts from the parking lot when i worked at a grocery store. i still call them that AND i will take a cart from the parking lot and "ride" that buffalo through the parking lot, standing on the back of it after getting a running start.
i'd like to race someone. cart full of groceries.. kids running after me.. READY!?!?!?! SET!?!?!? GO!!!! aaah shit! car!!
Memories of sitting in the passengers seat while my friend drove the car through the dark lot, to see how long I could grab hold and pull the shopping cart along side the car, lol think we had one going about 30 m.p.h. then LET GO!! and BAMMMM!
