alright so i need about 60 to 80 mgs of oxy at a time to get high and i use about 120 mg a day on average. i couldnt obtain an oxy so i bought 14 norcos which are 10 mg of hydrocodone. i took 8 of the norcos which equaled 80 mg of hydrocodone knowing it would only be like taking 50 mg of oxy. for some reason it made me feel like shit. i feel jumpy and nervous like i took a bad diet pill instead of an opiate. If i feel really good of 80 mg of oxy why cant i tolerate 80 mg of hydro?

because hydrocodone is garbage. Once your body discovered the potent and euphoric high of oxy, the hydro just cant comepete. I had done that one day, I got a bunch of free vicodin and ate like 40mg and smoked some herb, I felt the herb more than the hydro.

thats probably because of all the caffeine that is in Hydros

There isn't any caffine in hydros..
I think you took to many,I take Norcos 7 a day, and if I take 7 or 8 at once I somestimes feel like shit from the APAP 2600mgs at once.
I found that if I take 4 or 5 at once I feel better than taking 8 at once..
Norcos are awesome, you just have to like the warm fuzzy feeling you get from them..
Its not the same high as Oxys
I also take 80mgs of Oxy a day, and 40 to 50 mgs feel just as good as 80 mg of Oxy. Just a little different

When I used to take too much codeine, I'd get nervous & jumpy. Same with hydro. Never had that side effect with oxy.

Some people are rubbed the wrong way by Hydrocodone (me).

Some people experience a reaction to specific opiates (usually hydrocodone or codiene) that is almost a reverse of the typical physical response.

It is a well documented occurence and the reaction that occurs sounds exactly like what you described - mild stimulant effects making you feel jumpy, overactive, and even slightly nervous while lacking the normal sedation effects.

If I were you I would try taking less like Oxyrisin said, and see if that works, and if not try another opiate.

Hydros give me a nice warm buzz, but they don't sedate me like oxys, they make me feel, if anything, more energetic and hyper, and if I take them at night I oftentimes can't sleep at all.

So your reaction is actually not that unusual. Sorry you had to resort to norcos - obviously if you can get your normal oxy that would be ideal.
