Yeah, well it seems that my mom has had it up to here with me smoking pot. I just didnt bother to explain to her anymore as we just ended up fighting, and this time it went pretty bad.

She started throwing around shit in my room in a frantic search for more drugs, and i even showed her all my hiding spots. So when she cant find anymore, she starts to get pissed and said that hiding them from her. I tell he that shes found everything and I even flushed a lot of weed down the toilet to show her (It was only a little and I was gonna pick up more anyways, not the case now).

She then started going through EVERY single thing, and I got so pissed I took a couple things and smash them on the ground and ask "IS IT THERE? OR THERE? OR THERE?" Then she still gives me more shit and I seriously lose it. I fucking flip everything in the house, punch EVERYTHING until my knucles started to bleed, and now they're bruised and bloody as hell.

Oh well I guess I'm gonna be moving out soon. I'm fucking twenty and still having to take this shit from my mom...what the fuck is that?

oh well... i expect it to go back to normal within a few weeks. I dont fucking care, Ill stop smoking until I move out of this fucking place and then im gonna fucking party.

I grew up and moved out of the house once, so I doubt I need anymore of the "grow up" bullshit.

Try being a fucking ex-pat living in another country. The only fucking reason I am living in my mother's house is because the law states that I can't buy property (but can buy condos n shit). So once I find myself a fucking reasonable condo, I'm moving out of this house, thrashing that place the way I like it, and smoking all the weed I want.

Its not my fucking choice that I'm still living in my mothers house. You try being in my situation, AND YOU WONT EVEN DARE TELL ME TO FUCKING GROW UP AND MOVE OUT!
True its her house, her rules, but its my body, and my choice.

Im jus gonan drop the substance abuse shit until I move out. And the stupidest thing my moms doin now is that she said she will call the cops on me. I told her that if she did I have a bunch of crystal meth still in her room (which I actually do), and I will rat her out to the cops too. Not a very family thing to do but if she can do that to her own son, then her own son can do that to his own mother.

tearing up your mothers property at 20 is juvenile to say the least..
having a temper tantrum just because your mother no longer trusts you (obviously theres a reason for that)and trashing her shit is something a 15 year old would do..

threatening to frame her with your drugs? no your not acting like a 13 year old at all..
yes YOU NEED TO GROW THE FUCK UP!!

better be glad you aint our 20 year old kid..
my old lady would have stomped your little punk ass for acting like a baby at your age...

Well dude, if you were in my exact shoes, I doubt you would be telling my punk ass to grow up.

But then again I aint your kid, and obviously you dont care. Apparently you dont live in a country where its until you're 22 when you're considered an adult (although the legal drinking age being 18 is actually good, and they dont card here).

Well the only reason im gonna frame her with drugs is that if she doesnt bluff. Call it what you want, but I guess one day im gonna be yelling at my kid for still living in the house.

but by the way hippiehillbilly, thanks for the advice. I know I do need to grow the fuck up and move out of my moms house, and im on my fucking way.

Being 20 in asia is VERY FUCKING DIFFERENT from being 20 in the US. Just so you know...

Oh, come on. He's not a baby. OF COURSE he was fucking pissed because she took his private property, that he PAID for with his own hard earned cash. You'd be pissed too if you were his age and probably knock a few things around. I don't think it's childish, it's just emotions.

take the time to explain to her why you smoke marijuana, say that it really helps with your depression and it gets your headachs gone or that it helps you sleep idk its your mom you would know whats best to say. But about your situation, what id do if i were you is get a job if you dont have one then only smoke outside and just keep a low key about it, like if you smoke inside use a silencer ( or spoof how ever you wanna call it )

Dose your mom only think you smoke weed?

I think he has a job.

Why is living at home such a bad thing if you're responsible? People shouldn't put down young people who still live at home in this day in age. A lot of them are actually helping take care of their families (paying bills, buying own food/food for fam) and couldn't afford to move out anyway (don't you guys know there's a recession? it's hard for young people nowadays). Trust me, I know some of these teens that give a chunk of their paycheck to their parents. And they do it out of the goodness of their heart.
How do you know what each person does to help out at home?

    Thanks for understanding Wandering Soul.

I stay at home for a few reasons, and its not because I want to. A big reason I stay is because ever since my Dad died, my mom hasnt found anyone new so she's living with one of my cousins, but she wants one of her sons to stay at home too. Since my brother cant because he has a girlfriend and a job, and I'm the one who's still slutting around and doing nothing productive at my old condo, she "asked me" to move back home for a few months. I didnt know that I would lose a lot of freedom that I had away from her too.

I have a job driving a forklift at a warehouse. Its nothing much, but it beats getting money from parents.

Plus I actually do see some sides into living at home. I'm actually saving up money now, and I'm planning to get a Honda CBR 929 in a year or so. I just need another motorcycle ever since I sold my old one to my cousin. Even though this is a good side to living at home, for the sake of my sanity I am moving out as soon as I get a place.

But still, i'd rather buy a place than rent a place....And put it under my own name so they know its mine, and not my moms so she cant bitch at me for getting high at my own place (i just wont smoke in front of her just for courtesy).

yeah I know its time for me to get out, but im debating on myself what to get first, my bike or my place. I need both a lot right now, but I can only get one at a time.
Bike - personal trasnportation but i still have to stay at home.
Condo - My own place but I have to use public transportation.

And I'm not even going to start with explaining her on why I smoke weed. She doesnt care that cancer and AIDs patients use it. And I think its also because she knows Ive done other shit too (but she has no idea on what ive gotten myself into)

Dude you sound soooo much like me and my parents. It's funny how some people judge. I mean, I'm a pretty fucken responsible person.. but yet seen as a pathetic 20 year old still at home just because I like to smoke weed when I'm not working or at school? What the fuck?

    yeah exactly dude.

I had a talk with my brother today and some friends just because I needed release, and I got a lot of good advices. So far its for me to either stop smoking pot for a while or just dont bring shit into the house, and if i get high, i should do it at a friends house.

But whatever, Once a pothead, always a pothead.
And I know for a fact that you are still a pothead after you stop smoking pot because you'd say how long you havent smoked rather than how long you did.

theres nothing wrong with a 20 year old living at home.
there is however something WRONG with anyone destroying someone elses property (IE:moms house) because they were angry about not getting there way.
there is something VERY wrong about someone threatening to set somepne up for a crime just because they cant do as they please..
if yall cant see how not only immature but out right wrong his actions are, then i am glad your not my child,my childs friend or anyone that i would ever come into contact with..
the ethics of the O.P.'s actions were despicable.

so just how would any of you act if you asked someone not to do something illegal in your house and they repeatedly did anyway? when confronted they proceed to trash your house then black mail you with the threat of setting you up with drugs they planted on you??

    say what you wish,
i assure you if the situation was reversed, all here would be singing a different tune...

just remember, all of you more than likely will have children and all will be forced to set some kind of rule in place that your child will rebel against, how will you feel when said child follows the same course of action that O.P. has chosen against his mother?

oh im sure you all will just think children are just being children,,what if the child is 20?

obviously many here have far less experience being a parent and the one to set and enforce the rules than i...

well if you want to know the breaking part, i needed to release it somehow, and the only fucking think i broke was a mirror and like 2 coffee cups. it was my mom who did most of the breaking.

And trust me, with the shit your saying, I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if your kid is secretly holding a grudge against you. but then again you're 43 and you're argueing against an immature 20 year old...isnt there something better you should do?

im not arguing at all, after reading the replies after my original post i felt the need to clarify my position on your actions.

i stand by my statements an i really dont give a fuck whether you agree, disagree or feel you have justification for your actions.
i personally feel otherwise and i expressed my opinion.

have a great day, or night or whatever it is at the moment over there, try not to beat your mom up or frame her for your dope ..

oh btw.my sister and i both were born in bangkok.. i was a army brat.. ;)
