I’m an old-fart widower living alone. I live in one of those states that’s right now having a big COVID 19 surge. So I am sheltering in place again (spent most of April and May doing so also). Going out only to procure essentials. Until today the only thing preventing me from spending 100% of my indoor time naked has been the big clear window by the front door. Much of the living room and tv room are visible through that window to anybody walking by outside. This afternoon I placed a folding changing-screen over that window. I can now stroll throughout the house invisible to all outside eyes. My plan is to shelter in place naked until this pandemic cluster-fuck is over. Next project is to figure out a way to get more privacy on my back patio. Of three neighbors, only one has a view of my patio from their back yard — and they very seldom use that back yard. On moonless nights for years I have been going out back naked (especially if it’s raining) just to luxuriate in the night air. Would like to do so in the daytime too, but it feels too risky as currently configured. Anybody else determined to shelter in place nude?
I have been sheltering in place nude most of the time here. I have to be careful of neighbors when I go outside nude during the day. The neighbors on each side of me have kids. I do go nude outside at night nude to water garden or just to walk around. Also I like being naked in the rain and love it when while on nude hike it starts to rain. I also enjoy sitting on deck early morning and having nude coffee and if I'm at the table no one can tell I'm nude.
I make no attempt to cover up when I walk by the window, if someone looks in they're the one being inappropriate. I don't care if the police agree, if it's that offensive to you don't look!
Or what if their attitude is "I'm offended, I'll call the police"? There are a few states where being seen nude is legal, but I'd still try to avoid discussing it with the cops.
I have to be careful here because I know I push it to make a statement. It's so patently obvious to me that seeing someone naked doesn't do anyone any harm but the law doesn't see it my way. I keep expecting people to wake up and realise it too but they don't and I've been in trouble for it many times.
I like being in my garden and grove naked either just relaxing or working naked, my neihbour's desided to complain to the Greek police, but that was 6 years down the road, they come and was real nice about it even showed which bits needed to cover up of the fence , the down side was next door had his van taken off the road for a whole year, I think it was no tax so he got his come uppence, the law works both ways. So now I need to see them again as he's been in my pool plant room and did some damage, gee perhaps they will jail him this time, as he needs it, just hope the law still works both ways.
