Thanks everyone. I have known her for about four years and we have been dating for two years. Thing that sticks out the most. When I asked her the box was closed. She looked at me and said yes before even looking at the ring. To me that means a lot. I don't like material girls. Crap I guess I should have bought a smaller ring then. hahaha

That's awesome that she is not materialistic. My cousin was proposed to also on Christmas Eve and she wouldn't accept the ring as her engagement ring because it was only a half carat and she wanted a carat and a half. Tell me that's not f*cked up!
wow... that is messed up. She has a ring size of 4.5 ...Carney hands I know. I wanted to get her a 1 1/2 carat but she tried it on and said is was tacky on her so we agreed to get a carat...so thats what I bought
