i've noticed that some of you gals say that a shaved pussy is a cleaner pussy. i just wanted to clarify something. THIS IS NOT TRUE. one purpose of hair is to act as a trap and keep dirt out. when you remove the hair, dirt/debri/whatever can easily get into your skin or in the many crevices of your vag. so don't believe that you're cleaning yourself up when you shave.
I still think my pube art is the sexiest of it all... I love the feeling of smooth, shaven skin, but I can't stand to be completely bare. So, I sculpt into funky shapes and designs... I just got outta the shower two minutes before I sat at the computer and was creating my newest design: a music note! It's super nifty! I used this as an outline:
Now that I have the webcam, I really wanna take some pictures of my "art". The only problem is, it's pretty hard to get a decent angle and good lighting and a nice body shot with a simple webcam by myself. So, perhaps after the weekend when I'll have another set of hands to help, I may be able to get a few photos...
Malory, you're absolutely right. Shaving a pussy is very bad for pussy-health. Fungi and bacteria will grow much more easily in a shaved pussy. This is so because with a shaved pussy, girls notice the increase of bacteria and secretions, after which they then tend to wash their pussies more. This in turn destroyes the natural cleaning mechanism inherent in the pussy. Washing too often is very bad and dries up the twat, after which artificial moisturizing becomes necessary, which in turn is very bad for the pussy. Thus you create a cycle in which bacteria and fungi thrive and which destroyes the health of the pussy (which is a very delicate system including glands which secrete chemicals with a very specific and fragile Ph, etc...). In short, the best pussy is the hairy pussy. That's from a health perspective. Moreover, from an erotic perspective, the hairy pussy rules supreme as well.
Does anyone else feel retarded from reading that? ~roles eyes~ If you wash your damn crotch everyday, your fine. Sheesh
Well, years back when women gave birth, the nurses would shave her pubic hair. Why? Because they said that the hair could harbor bacteria and be harmful to the baby as it emerged from the womb. Now as far as I know, they don't use this practice anymore. When I had my children they didn't, then again, I've always kept myself pretty well trimmed. Anyhow, I still keep myself neatly trimmed. On rare occassions, mainly a botched up trim job, I'll take it completely off. I just prefer to keep my hedges nice and pruned.
I agree with you hippychikmommy. My wife usually keeps it trimmed, but once in a while for reasons unknown she shaves it all. It doesn't matter to me. It's all good. but change once in a while is cool.
Well, if we r nudists we need hair to keep dirt out, but as we do not come in contact with much dirt in everyday life, and nobody like to eat chicken with the feathers attached...
I love the feel after i have takin' it all off, especially after i have moisturised. So smooth it's great and have had no complaints. I do however get lazy sometimes and let a little grow which i also like but not full on. Poor people who go downstairs in that situation when there's everything. I wouldn't prefer a mouthful, would you?
Shaving can make you more prone to thrush and sometimes UTI's... but I can see how it may feel cleaner
Re: Hippychickmommy. Most operations require shaving. Because your vulva and peremnium splits during childbirth, the doctors sometimes cut it instead of it tearing. They shave it so its easier to see and so that no hair gets in there, because of course any foreign matter is likely to cause infection. They would do the same if they were operating on your leg. Of course getting hair in a flesh wound is going to be a bad thing, but having hair around your genitals is there for a purpose.
actually, back in "the day" (if that's what you're talking about), people didn't bathe as often. that may be why they had to shave women's vaginas before childbirth.
As I said before, did you know that washing the twat too often, increases your risk of catching HIV and other STDs significantly? Here you go (recent BBC Health article): Vaginal washing 'raises HIV risk' http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4598062.stm The best hygiene is to keep the pussy hairy, and to wash it with water only, a few times a week, but not more. /
