Shaving ads

Whenever there's an ad for men's shaver on TV/mag they always show "9 '0 clock" shadow effect before the razor glides + gives the smooth finish. With summer now virtually here there's lots of ads for women's razors, creams+ wax strips- yet what I find weird is that these are always shown with razor, etc shaving totally hairless legs, that look as though hair has never ever grown on them! Surely these ads would be more authentic if they actually showed at least some bristles, if not longer hair, being removed? Is female leg hair so shocking that even a bit of stubble is too taboo to be shown for hair removal ads?

Returning from trip to Kazakhstan recently it was refreshing to see quite a number of women of various ages with unshaved legs; good to see some variety. Any interesting anecdotes concerning hairy legs or shaving, etc?

I usually shave everything. I am single now and quite hairy. I need some motivation to shave.

And Women "Wonder" why a man won't go down on her?

 

What are you trying to say? That men shouldn't go down on women if they don't shave? If that is what you are saying, then you are delusional. I don't shave anything and my boyfriend has no problem with it.

Society may say that women's hair is utterly repulsive and should never be seen, but luckily for me I don't give a fuck what society thinks.

 

I find the differences between men's and women's ads pretty funny. There's a new four-blade one for women saying "now you dont' need to steal his" and it's all girly and pink, they try to make the razor pretty and calming, and the voiceover is a girl and it's just so stereotypical, and the men's ad (by the same brand, I forget which) is all in greys' and has whooshing sound effect and try to make the razor exciting

 

how come guys get cool names for razors like Mach 3 or something and we get like Venus...

 

Some people take this whole anti-society thing too far. I hate the human species and most of it's creations and ideologies as well, but some things are just practical. Eating a pussy that doesn't look like a wooly mammoth is practical.
