Hmm. My girlfriend has a similar problem to you, and she is REALLY self-conscience about it. I've seen them bare, and the best description would be the "cone shape" you described. I've tried my best to raise her self-esteem but it never really has worked, and she still hates them. How can I convince her that breast size doesn't really matter, and do you have any tips for making her feel better? Thanks!

Also, big props for all the women in this thread for having the courage to spill out their insecurities. Hugs for all of you! I'm sure all of you are wonderful women, outside and inside, and have nothing to worry about. Believe me, the world has the problem, not you :). Guys just have been trained to expect the impossible from women and are used to "Hollywood" looking women in porn and movies. I'm a guy who personally believes no make up is the "Best policy" for everyone, and natural is the best for me.

Though I've always loved my fair skin, I have very prominent veins. If you look at my wrists, you can see the blue veins right under the skin, and on my thighs, little purple spider veins are visible. I try not to let it drag me down, but it can be tough during summer months. I wear jeans or ankle-length skirts year-round, since I don't want to look like an anatomy project.

I love that. In my opinion, freckles, skin imperfections and even blemishes can be beautiful. :)

Hey there. I think it is super sweet first of all that you are seeking out help here for your girlfriend. It's wonderful that you care enough to strive to boost her spirits.
First thing I would do is to remind your gf what breats are actually for...nurturing your young. We are shaped to see them as sexually attractive, and it's really only media influence that says bigger is better. These views flucuant naturally over time.
Look at some old nude reniesance paintings...the women of beauty were smaller in the chest area, and larger in the mid-section..and that was what was beautiful at that time. All in all it doesnt matter. Remind her that inner beauty radiates to outer beauty.
    Good luck :)

I don't think it's depressing. Being honest about your insecurities is the first step toward healing. :)

i have the same problem, my skin is really thin and there are spider veins all over my legs. people always point at them like what is THAT.

but i say fuck em and i wear skirts, shorts and whatever i want. it only matters if you let it bother you!

Yeap, I think is more depressing to ignore them than to embrace them.

My stomach is too chubby--always has been, always will be. a little gut, no waistline. I also hate my thighs. And I feel like my hips are WAY too small for my body.

My ass is kinda big but I'm actually pretty comfterable with that....lol no stetch marks or cellulite so its all good.....lol and I kinda like having a booty :) I just wish my stomach and thighs would disappear

Personally, I like my body and I like my shape because it's unique, ya know?

But I am self conscious about my belly fat. I'm thin all over but have this gut that just kills me. The sad thing is, I'll never lose it...due to the medication I'm on for my blood disorder and the actual disease itself, it causes some bloating in the stomach.

I'm very self conscious about my back. I've always had bad give breakouts on my back and there are some pretty ugly scars.

And another thing (this is really weird-haha), I am self conscious about my butt...I have the "bump"-where my ass and back meet, so my buttcrack begins really low...I have a low butt crack! It drives me nuts!

I'm curious what blood disorder do you have? I had ITP briefly, so that's why I ask. (You can PM me if you'd rather say there).

Thrombocytopenia...causing it to be really really thin. It's like a form of hemophilia except it doesn't hold in nutrients...especially iron and taking supplements didn't really work.

It's basically thickened up for the most part. I'd get blood thickening shots and it's not as bad. I still get really light headed when I don't have enough iron. I have to stay on a very well balanced diet. It sucked for a while, but now that it's under control, I can live a rather decent life haha

Since I started having kids I haven't liked the way my stomache looks. I would write & joke about having a flat tire bigger then any car could get...but the only pictures I would post were just head-shots cuz there was no damn way I was giving a picture online that showed my flabby stomache, thunder thighs or buffalo butt.
Yrs ago I even talked to a doctor about having a tummy tuck, but have never had it done.

Just this year, since moving to the Grand Canyon, I have had friends take pictures of me here and now I post them all online...yes even the full-body pictures. The stomache rolls still show through my shirts, The hips still stick out like saddlebags...but I don't care anymore.
