Post any that you have. Why? If your idea doesn't work out for you, then any of these other shared ideas might instead. The latest random business idea I have for myself, just in case my financial safety cushion is reduced right from under me, is: Transport people to and from a specific mall movie theater for less than what a taxi would cost them, but for more than what a local buss would cost them. That would be a $5 to and $5 from price. I'd work 10a to 2p. I'd transport within one city. I'd only a need 4-5 max customer load a day, and would run as a movie goer transporter Sun thru Sat. I'd operate outside the troublesome winter season. I'd make about $8,960 - 11,200 before taxes after working only 8 months.
You would transport 4-5 customers per day for 5 bucks each? For 8 months? That would make somewhere around 6000 bucks total. I guess that's why these random ideas don't work.
1. I charge $5 to go to the place. 2. I charge another $5 to come from that same place. They don't have to use my transport service to come from the place, but they can, and would most likely, since it is just another $5 (less than taking a taxi, but more than taking a local bus). I'd do this idea, but I did say only if my current money status REDUCES. Meaning, if it did so, I'd still get money also with that newer gained money from this kind of simple transporting.
at 4.5 passengers per day, both ways every time, seven days a week, for 8 months, you would bring in about $10,800. and i assume you would spend about $10,900 on gas and car maintenance.
I still like my idea of "Dine and Recline". I'll give it away because I'm never going to do it but someone should. You have a place that serves awesome food and drinks and when people over indulge, instead of a dance floor you have a big floor full of recliners for them to lay back in for a few hours. You book bands or you show movies. Comedians would be good too.
the business of business is monkey business and its not the little green pieces of paper that are unhappy. that's my idea about 'business'. i would like to see retailing torn from the cold dead bones of corporatocracy and returned to the warm living hands of mom and pop hippies though.
How about a device that screws into the wall just above your pooper, for when you're really drunk and need to pee? The front part can attach/ fit to your head, so your ol'lady doesn't get pissed in the morning. Let's do this:
This thread annoys me. Why would I share my random business ideas? So someone can steal my idea? No thanks.
I have a somewhat realistic idea - start a food cart in my city for the work week lunch crowd. I would serve soups and comfort food in the winter and sanwiches and salads in the summer, all sourced locally. I havent figured out the financial specifics of it but I dont think the start up would cost very much. i already have all the recipe ideas. its an idea i've had in my head for ages as there are a lot of sit down restaurants downtowns but not a lot of quick lunch places.
I have a friend in NC that opened a hot dog cart in a small town. She parked it in front of the auto parts store, did festivals, parked in front of the Dollar General store, etc. Then some health issues and a pattern of rain every day kind of put her out for a while. I'm not sure she does it at all anymore.
ive always thought there was a market for specialized pet caskets i dont have talent with woodworking though...but i know there are plenty of stupid rich people that buy that shit especially if it was really fancy rare wood
