Shall We Do Away with RT Forum?

on the odd accasion there is a interesting thread in RT..

 

although the RT forum gives me headaches quite a bit, it does provide some quality entertainment... I dont think by getting rid of RT that you will get rid of alot of the bullshit threads, I think people will probably post elsewhere, and some new forum will become the next RT....... I think, in a sick way, RT is what attracts people here..... its the forum with the most traffic, thats for sure..... and I think if RT would suddenly disappear, the site would just not be the same. but thats just my two cents.

yeah it's a waste of time, but it's a fun waste of time. i enjoy posting here... if this was gone, i'd probably stop visiting the forums because I don't find any other forums nearly as interesting

Every messageboard needs an "off topic" area...where us newbies can post in relative safety from making tits of ourselves

and...some of us are too boring to have real hobbies and interests to chat about

i say go for it.....but madcrappie's right if there is no RT then all of what you see now will be spread thru out the others forums, which will cause far more headaches in the long run.... or it will just takeover another forum.........

we all have heard you're dribble before.....stop whinning its soo lame

 

Why not just merge the Pure Bull and RT forums? They're both the same thing IMO.

 

Pft, I'd say the threads about bunny suicide are more pertinent then 99% of whats posted in the politics forum.

Most things are pretty pointless anyway.

I'd cry like a 6 year old girl who scraped her knee, because I think I can respect myself more for crying then reading another monotonous thread by people who are either ignorant or crazy.

This forum is so full of crap.. SO FULL of CRAP! But it is not all crap, and it would be unfair to get rid of it because then where would all the intelligent people with intelligent random thoughts - but random thoughts cannot always be intelligent.. they're random and unfortunately we human beings are such a primitive culture that whatever goes through our minds is often... you know, stupid - where would they go?

And yeah this forum can be fun at times... like I said somewhere else... why always be serious? As long as there a limit, of course, it can't hurt anybody.

 

99% of what's in Random Thoughts is spam anyway, I say get rid of it... the other forums are much more interesting, and RT is becoming a waste of space, although it used to be interesting...

 

delete the last 1004 pages.

But people would just post their crap over some other forum... look at Young Hippies...

 

maybe just ban all us spammers, I think Skip did not have what RT has become in mind when he envisioned these boards.
