Sexual dream

Ok, I am reluctant to post this dream because it's extremely weird. But I really need to know what it means. I dreamt that I was having sex with my father. Gross, I know, but it has to mean something. Anyone have any ideas?

Well, you need to analyze other aspects. What is your relationship with your father like? Are you two close or do you want a better relationship? Is he still living?...
It could mean you wish you had a close bond with him.

 

Yeah, I thought about that aspect of it. We aren't very close so maybe that's what it means. Thanks.

Were your parents divorced? I've read a lot of incestuous dreams occur in people with broken up families.
But don't be ashamed of that, my dreams well surpass anything like that haha. Wait till you dream yourself as another person that rapes your family. Then you'll be worried. =\

I've never read into dreams too much because they're so inconsistent it never makes sense.
I'm almost completely sexually "straight" in my dreams but that's not true IRL and I don't get worried about it, just a dream. I enjoy things I don't like and don't like things I do like in dreams. And then most times I'm not even dreaming about me but I'm someone else. So I don't know what that tells anyone but if I'm not dreaming of myself how real can it all be?
Dreams are like a good Novel going on in your head.

 

I agree with BB and Irmy. If they do mean something, who you are in your dreams could be representing someone else.

 

I had a few sex dreams in my life, it obviously means my brain just wants sex and that's it.

Like the others have said it might be that way because of your close bond with your father. Sometimes our subconsciousness can be absolutely weird and troubling.

 

It just alarmed me but I feel better about it now. I think it's just a dream. I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

Maybe you want to be close to your father? Not intimate but just wanting to be close?
