hi everyone, well we have been married for 22 years, and wife is almost 50, and when she hit 48 she just stopped getting her periods.

4 months ago we had our 22nd anniversary so i took her away for 3 days to get away from the kids and spend some time together.

we drove 2 hours to the place we were staying at, and after settling in we went to the local pub to have a few drinks before dinner in the resturant, and low and behold, my wife whispered in my ear that she had just got her period and apologized to me for messing up our plans for the weekend.

i was somewhat surprised by all this because most guys just dont understand how a womans body clock really works, and in this case her body clock suddenly decided to start up again right at the start of our weekend away (talk about bad timing)

anyway, in the past, she had always detested the thought of having sex during her period, and nothing i could ever do or say would ever change her mind, and thats why she apologized to me because she told me we cant have sex the way we planned to.

we had dinner and drove back to our chalet, and decided to take a plunge in the big spa bath, and after that i wasnt sure what was on the agenda because i knew how she felt about sex while having her period.

anyway, during the spa bath, and for several hours afterwards, i noticed my wife was actually very different than she would normally be during her period, and i sensed that she was indeed very very horny, and i made a decision there and then that "stuff it" she wants a fuck, and no period was going to stop us from having one.

all i can say is that after 2 nights with her being so sex craved, she left me absolutely stuffed.

from that weekend on, her periods are back to normal, but one thing is for sure, she gets absolutely so horny during those 2 or 3 days its not funny, so i am curious to ask a few questions of the ladies if they dont mind.

1- depends on how I feel in myself at the time, but I have done and enjoyed it, I just didn't like it afterwards.

obviously there are certain things you cant do during this short period of time that you would normally do, but its more about improvising and working things over to help keep the spark alive.

her doctor still cant explain why she suddenly managed to get her period back on that precise afternoon, however she, along with my wife still maintains that it was most likely triggered off by some "emotional" factor or her "excitement" about having a weekend away.

the wife told me that she was excited when i picked her up to take her away, but it wasnt until we got into the chalet and saw how luxurious it was that she felt something happening to her physically, and it wasnt until we got to the pub at 4pm when she went to the loo and realized what was going on.

she says she now feels totally different during her period, and although i have always been able to tell she is having her period, she is definately very different these days compared to the previous years.

if you are referring to me, well it has helped my wife overcome her absolute hatred, or fear of having sex during her period, which i think was always there because of how "messy" it can be, and the stigma attached to it, as being a "no go" zone during that time.

what it has done is allowed us to not let her periods interfere in our desire to have sex during that time, because it really isnt that bad.

 

Yes, I have and do have shower sex during my period. Being in the shower takes away the mess factor, which allows me to enjoy it more.

even the weekend that i took the wife away that instigated this thread, we had this huge spa bath in our room, and in 22 years being married, we had never had a spa bath, so we were so hyped up about having one when we got back from the resturant, and when we did have it, we were pretty much pissed off with it, very uncomfortable to sit in, and especially didnt think it would be any good for having sex in.

it's not gross at all. in the shower, or towels on the bed/nearby, and you're good to go! i do tend to abstain on the heaviest days, but other than those 2 days (at most) i'm raring to go, aunt flo or not, lol.

My girlfriend doesn't like sex while she's on her period. I usually can get some pretty good head that week though so I look forward to "oral sex week". My ex-wife really dug period sex though. We'd throw down a few towels and screw our brains out or bang away in the shower. It usually was a lot briefer a session that sex on non-period weeks but still pretty hot. It never bothered me. It can be a pretty bloody mess though if you're not careful.

OP, similar to when my wife is on her period it pretty much means closed for business. However sometimes when her period has just came she'll have a "light" day in which she doesn't mind much.

However the reason we don't have sex during that time isn't because she thinks it's gross, well it is a little I guess. Mostly it's just because she feels like shit. She gets bad PMS and dry right before, then bad cramps the first few days. I kind of feel bad for her and think how much it must suck to be a woman at that time of the month.

That said one of my first sexual girlfriends used to love to have sex on her period. She said it made her horny because subconsciously she felt like she couldn't have sex because of it. But once we got over that hump she loved it. Granted it's not my first choice but then again I don't typically ever turn down sex either.

 

I wont be seeing one those thing for 9months..
