I know from personal experience that what you're saying can be true for any couple that starts having sex very early on. However, that one particular couple moved slowly because at the time, neither one was particularly interested in starting a serious relationship, especially one involving monogamy. They've been together now for quite a few years, with two daughters. It's funny, both of them now confess that their long term plan had been to meet and marry somebody more conventional in their thinking, a few years later, and never admit to them that they had ever gone through a promiscuous phase. Instead, that particular piece of information was the first thing they learned about each other! The old plan was instantly out the window!

This is true. Haha doing it in that weird way lets you skip a lot of the things that keep some other people from really getting to know each other.
