Nobody could quit picking on Rand Paul's Senate floor etiquette long enough to get several key measures passed, namely HR 2048 and several parts of the Patriot Act which mandate how we collect and use metadata and perform wiretapping. They say our counterintelligence experts and FBI gumshoes rarely (100 times a year) used roving wire taps.

Do we really need anything to get "rehashed" apart from knocking the bottom out of metadata collection? Personally, this all sounds like another smoke screen being shot into mass media to cover up what's really going on: our failure to keep terrorists from hacking our data collection framework.
