Seven Year Itch?

I am writing a paper, and I can't do a thing until I find out what the hell 'the seven-year-itch' is. Just hoping for a soon reply. Thanks

It was a play then a movie, but I don't know if the term was popular before that, to illustrate that after seven years of marriage the man or woman or both get restless.

It is a REAL Phenomena, where when people have been together as a couple, IE: Husband/Wife and after seven years, Boredom begins to set in. It can be overcome. Although not usually. This leads to Marital Infidellity. (Cheating)

 

Is there such a thing as a 2-week itch? I think I've had that before...

I get an itch in all my hairy places when I don't shower for 7 days.

 

What everyone has said is right...the seven year itch is a phenomenon that happens to people in relationships, around the seven year mark. They suddenly want out. They say if you get past this hurdle you'll probably stay together for the long haul.
I figure these days its probably a seven month itch???

I believe in a seven year itch type thing, like after 7 years together your eyes start to wander, or you cant really help thinking about your relationship...

I'll remember it in case it happens to my love and I. I'll remember that it is something that happens to many couples and it can be overcome. (heh...that is...if it does really happen and its not just a myth) What did you think I meant?

 

It doesn't happen to everyone. I've been with my hubby going on 10 years, we're not bored yet.
