Anybody been on this before? This drug almost drove me to Suicide. I was having Violent moodswings every few hours, wanted to kill myself and was shouting at my parents and girlfriend all the time, I hated the drug yet i still craved it!
Isn't Seroxat the same as Paxil (paroxetine)? It can, rarely, induce mood swings in some people. It also is fairly difficult to go off of. You should not ever stop it cold turkey. It is not, however, physically addictive.
dont get me started about seroxat... I really hate it. I gained 30 kilos when I was on it (still working to get it off, wont go as fast as I want it to). and been on the intensive care for a suicide attempt... I really really dont like seroxat. If i were you, I would go to the person that subscriped it to you and ask him to change it... problem is that when you go from seroxat to another drug, it will cause you a lot of extra problems... when I got of to the seroxat (really slowly, with supervision of my psychiatrist) I was really ill and suicidal... so... BE CAREFULL... its a shame to do stupid things just because of a medicine that drives you crazy... by the way: there ar a lot of discussions going on about seroxat. they are even considering getting seroxat out of the marked... I really hate seroxat...
My doctor prescribed me Paxil 4 weeks ago and it has made me feel so horrible. I just stopped taking it 3 days ago. I seriously couldn't handle it. I don't know if it was such a good idea to stop without telling my doctor, but I can't see him until Monday, and I figured it would be better for me to stop taking it than to go completely insane. It made me feel like that after about 10 days of taking it, but I thought that I should give it a chance and at least take the whole bottle. Screw that!
